Liam and I are sitting together at a small café just a couple blocks away from the hotel. Despite the practically unbearable heat outside, the café is a bit chilly, but quaint with pink tulips placed on each table.

"How are things with Danielle anyway?" I ask before taking a forkful of salad into my mouth.

"Things are good. I mean we're not like how we used to be, but she hung out with me a few nights ago and listened to the new album. Then I took her out for dinner yesterday while she was in New York. I don't know, but the entire situation seems to be getting a lot better" Liam finishes and bit into his wrap.

"I think she's a good girl. But what was that whole thing with Sophia?" my eyebrows furrowed as I ask Liam.

"How did you know about Sophia? Did my mom tell you?" Liam looks even more confused than me.

"Liam, you might not tell me everything but I don't live underneath a rock. I see the tabloids pretty often" I smile.

"I mean, I did like Sophia and we had a lot of fun together. We've known each other for so long that it was easy to be around her and I felt comfortable but at the end of the day there was nothing behind it. Plus, I'm still so in love with Danielle. And keeping someone around and knowing it isn't going to work out is just so wrong" Liam tells me.

"Are you trying to be friends with Danielle or are you trying to get her to be with you again?"

"What do you think?" Liam chuckles.

"Well do you know what she wants?"

"No, and I suppose that's the real problem" Liam says lowly.

"You should talk to her" I say and take a sip from my glass of lemonade while Liam nods.

"So what's your situation right now with lads?" Liam gestures with his hand for me to spill about my love life.

"You remember Mark, don't you?" I ask Liam.

Mark is my ex-boyfriend. We started dating when I was sixteen and continued until after my first semester of college. He's very jealous and controlling so I ended it when I came home for Christmas break last year. Liam has never actually met Mark but I'm sure he remembers my mom bragging about him at family events. Other than being a possessive asshole, Mark was the star wide-receiver on our high school football team and went out to play for Florida State University and my mom had no problem letting everyone know. However, after our relationship ended, I promised myself that I would never be with an egotistical idiot that wants to control my every move in life ever again.

"The stupid football guy?" Liam knows exactly who I'm talking about. "Don't tell me you're still with that kid."

I shake my head a few times to get my point across, "No! I was just going to say that that's the latest news on the boyfriend front for me."

"Has that been a good or bad thing?" Liam asks.

"Good, so far. There haven't been any distractions. I've been doing so well at school, I got the internship, just a little lonely sometimes" I shrug and pick the onions out of my salad.

"You deserve a good lad, Kat" Liam looks at me seriously.

"Thank you Liam" I give him a small, but sincere smile. "Are you done?"

"Yeah, are you ready to go shopping?"

"Born ready" I say as Liam and I both stand from our table.

By five o'clock, Liam and I are strolling back to the Four Seasons with our arms full of shopping bags. We ride the elevator up to the thirty-eighth floor and I follow Liam inside his suite.

"Hello?" Liam walks past the kitchen and into the living room to see if anyone in the hotel room.

"Yo" I hear faintly in another room in response to Liam's shout.

Liam walks over to the right side of the room and pushes the door open a tad, but I can't really hear the conversation.

"Katrina, do you want to shower and get ready here? The boys want to go out to eat tonight" Liam says walking back into the kitchen where I am seated.

"I didn't bring clothes or make-up though."

"What did you just buy a ton of today?" Liam rolls his eyes and laughs.

"Oh gosh, you're right" I laugh and can't believe I almost forgot all the new clothes, make-up, and jewelry I bought just hours ago.

"Here come with me" Liam leads me into the door on the left side of the room.

The door opens and there are three queen-sized beds spread out against the wall and a flat screen television on the other wall with three dressers along it as well. A huge window with a view of the New York City skyline is on the far side of the room. There is a faint buzz from the television that is showing MTV and a constant breathing come from a limp body wrapped in white sheets on the middle bed. From the mess of brown curls, I'm guessing the sleeping beauty is Harry.

"The bathroom is right there" Liam points to the left to a closed door. "There are fresh towels hanging on the rack above the toilet" Liam instructs me then leaves his room.

I let the warm water pour over my head and fall down the rest of my bare body. Much to my surprise Liam has quite the selection of quality shampoos and conditioners, which starts to make more sense the more I think about it because those One Direction boys have some lovely ass hair. I wash out my long chocolate locks with strawberry scented shampoo and then I brush out my hair while applying the corresponding conditioner. I hear the door to the bathroom click open and instantly my heartbeat speeds up. I hear a deep and steady humming and the door closes shut. Thank God this shower isn't glass and has actual curtains attached to it. How the hell did I forget to lock the door?!
