Never forget

Chapter Ten

(Inuyasha's POV~ yeah, his can sometimes mix in with others....MOVING ON)

My speed was picking up as I could pick up the scent of him. As much as I wanted to forget that flee bag, he still Kagome's "friend".

As I reached closer to where his camp was, I could tell he could sense me. Then out of no where someone attacked me from the side causing me to roll with the figure until we stopped.

" Well, well. If it isn't the mangy mutt Inuyasha!"

I cringed at the voice knowing exactly who it was. That damn Koga.

" Yeah, yeah. Would'a just get off of me!" I push him off as he falls on his butt.

" Well that's no way to greet someone you haven't seen in a while!"

" Heh, who said I would greet you nicely?"

Koga rolls his eyes and walks back towards the fire where his two baboon friends were sleeping. Figures.

" So, mut. What brings you here?"

Inuyasha sits down across from Koga. " It's about Kagome, she's back."

Koga stares at me with wide dark eyes." Really? when? where is she?!"

I place my hands up in defense. " Easy, easy there boy. She's back at the village."

Koga stands up. " Well, what is she doing there for? you could've at least brought her with you so I wouldn't have to talk to your mut face the whole time!"

I start to get irritated. Of course he would say that....the smart ass. " Look, I just came to get you because Kagome needs to see some people....she's been kind of down because some things happened recently."

Koga sits down. " Well....I guess for her i'll come. Just don't tell you know who about it!"

I smirk a little. " who? oh...do you mean your wife?"

Just saying wife made him shiver a little. Which made me smile.

" You do realize that if you don't tell her, it'll look bad and she'll just kill you."

" Yeah, well I'm not scared of her. Besides I make my own decisions...."

I scough. " Heh, Yeah sure. You keep telling yourself that."

As we both stood up quickly Koga carved a note for his two friends before leaving with me to find shippo now. And that would get difficult because he's constantly moving around.

It took at least a couple of hours to finally sniff out all the fox demons. Not to mention dealing with all they're trickery.

I could tell we've found him when he started to constantly bug me with tricks.

" WHY YOU LITTLE BRAT!" I grip onto the little demons tail as he started to freak out.

" P-please! don't hurt me! It was only teasing you that's all!"

" Shippo, its me. so....stop crying." I drop the demon and he gets up staring at me then smiling.

" Whoa, it is you Inuyasha! what's up?!"

I smirk a little. " I have some great news."

" Heh, what!? tell me, tell me!"

I kneel down to his level. " It's well, Kagome's back. She's in the village and wants to see you."

Shippo just stares at me with a straight face. " If you honestly think this is funny, its not."

And turns to walk away before I get irritated. I then walk up to him. " Shippo-" he turns around and I clunk him on the head leaving a  bump.

" OW! why did you do that Inuyasha?!"

" Because your an idiot! why would I lie to you about Kagome!?"

The young demon stares at the ground. Then sighs a little depressed. " I don't know. I just.....I'm not strong enough to see her yet!"

Koga sits down on a rock placing his head on his hand. " You know, being strong dosen't just mean physically or mentally. I'm not saying there bad but, being emotionally strong for Kagome is a really good thing."

I glance at him. " Shippo, Kagome's sad and I want her to see all her friends.....even though she has more.....so just most of them."

Shippo stares at Koga and I before nodding. " Alright, I guess I can come."

Quickly all three of us ran back to the village as morning started to break.

I hope this can bring back the light into her eyes again.
