Chapter Eleven

When I finally woke up, I was asleep in Kaede's hut. I must've been a little early because I could smell some of her food cooking. I turn in the bed to see kaede just doing so.

She notices me awake and smiles softly. " Come and sit with me child."

I smile softly and take a seat next to her. " So what are you cooking today?"

" Can't say, it's going to be something...that's gotta be for sure." he eyes it a little bit more.

If I eat that stuff.....I might die. I cringe at the thought.

Kaede spoke softly which brought me out of my thoughts.

" Songo told me what happened last night."

I stared at her wide eyed. " Look It was really nothing!"

" Kagome, ye needn't worry. I'm glad that you could talk with my sister Kikyo.....But how you receive Hikari must mean that something is going to happen in soon time."

She stares at me with a stern look before I cracked under pressure. " K-kikyo just told me something that was well......"

" What did you say about Kikyo?" Inuyasha says as he walks into the hut.

I stare at him wide eyed. I can't tell him! I know exactly what he'll do and in the order it will come in.

" Nothing really, just had a dream about her talking to me is all."

Suddenly Inuyasha comes and sits next to me, staring into my eyes.

" Idiot. Just tell me the truth already."

I shook a little, just thinking about what she said still terrifies me. I take a deep breath and prepared myself. " No. I'm can't tell you."

" Kagome! tell me!"

I think this is around when I snapped, the stress was starting to take its tole and Kaede could tell as well.

" WOULD YOU JUST STOP ASKING! I HAVE TO DEAL WITH MY PROBLEMS MY WAY! YOU CAN'T HELP ME THIS TIME, UNDERSTAND INUYASHA! SO JUST LEAVE IT ALONE!" I stood up and stormed out of the hut heading to the tree I was at last night. Trying to clear my head once again.

" Jeez. What bit her on the ass?" Inuyasha stares at the door way still surprised.

Kaede sighed while shaking her head. " You shouldn't of pressed her about it."

" Well, I'm just trying to be considerate and all......but instead she yells at me!"

Miroku starts to laugh as he walked into the hut. " Well, I don't know what you did, but at least she didn't tell you to sit."

Inuyasha sits up straight glaring at Miroku. " All I did was ask her about Kikyo and she nearly tore my head off."

" Aye. But its to be expected, to me she seemed rather nervous when she spoke of Kikyo so it must've scared her."

" I guess your right. Come to think of it, even when Kikyo was alive Kagome was still nervous around her sometimes."

Miroku and Kaede nodded in agreement. Miroku sighs, " Well you should just go and apologize, I don't think she'll be to happy if she's angry at you and having to meet the others."

Inuyasha stands up and walks out the door swearing under his breath. And finally reaching Kagome and stands there and stares at her.

I glance up to notice Inuyasha is standing there. I look away a little and fold my arms tightly.

" Look.....Inuyasha I-"

He shook his head and sat down next to me. " You don't have to tell me if you don't want to......besides....it was....it was...m..m-"
