As I walked towards the tree of ages and the boneaters well, I thought about all the times Kagome and I would argue....or when I would hide my smile when she'd sometimes come back without me having to drag her here.
Suddenly I felt something warm touch my chest, I walked to the tree and I could smell Kagome's scent.
" Kagome!" I looked around but no sign of her. " Kagome!" still no answer from her.
I think I'm really losing it now. But what if I'm sensing something that could be.....her?
Miroku stands there watching Inuyasha. " So this is the lowest you get when you are desperate? just sad Inuyasha....."
Inuyasha freezes and turns slowly. " How long were you watching me?"
" Just to when you were calling out Kagome's name......and to the tree no less."
Inuyasha starts to walk off. " Oh shut up! I was not talking to the tree if that's what you were thinking!"
Miroku starts walking towards Inuyasha. " Well, now that you mentioned it yes, I was kind of thinking that."
Inuyasha turns and glares at Miroku, but instead, Miroku kept on walking. " Com'on! Songo's prepared food and you need to eat!"
Inuyasha rolls his eyes. " Yeah, Yeah. You sure do sound like that old hag."
Miroku starts to get a little angry. " And you sound just like a dog. There now were both even."
Inuyasha hits Miroku on top of the head leaving a lump on his head.
