IVYS POV
I went to wake Harley up and go into our normal routine, she wakes up, sometimes cries, I help her shower, then I make breakfast most of the time she doesn't day much of it, but thi morning when I went to wake her up she was gone, I panicked "Harley? Harley, where are you doll?"
"In the shower red!" Came the response
I calmed down for a minute, "she's getting better" I thought and smiled, I didn't leave the room till she was out, just to make sure she was Ok
"I'll make breakfast" she said slipping on my tee shirt on accident "oops, I'll change" she said quickly
"You're Ok peanut" I said then hugged her "what's with the change in attitude Harls"
"Idk I'm just feeling better today"
"Ok"
She then went to the kitchen and I heard her humming as she was making pancakes. I smiled then went to eat, "I guess today will be a good day" I thought. After dinner we watched a movie till i fell asleep.
HARLEYS POV
After ivy fell asleep I watched her for a bit, "gee am I lucky to have a best friend like her" I thought, she really was my best friend, and I loved her. Suddenly my phone rang. "Mistah j" was the name that lit up the screen, I gulped and slowly stood up to take the call. "H-hello mistah j" I was scared
"Babyyy, I've missed you sooo much" joker answered, obviously still drunk
"I um I've missed you too, p-puddin"
"Pleease  come home Harley girl, I'm sorry"
I looked at ivy who was still asleep "I'll be right over" I whispered then hung up, I ran and got dressed then took my car (which ivy stole from j so I could have it) back to his place "I hope he's not still mad" I said to nobody in particular as I drove away.
AUTHORS POV
Harley got back to the jokers house and knocked on the door, it took a while for anyone to answer and she almost turned back, but then the joker answered and damn near stumbled out "pumpkin!" He said and hugged her, she flinched really badly then hugged back before going inside. "Hi Puddin" she mumbled
"Hi sweets, I've missed you"
"I missed you too Puddin"
Joker then pulled her in and kissed her deeply, he hater being away from her, especially knowing that she was with that house plant, he was so fucking upset, he killed the rest of his goons and drank every last drop of alcohol there was in the house. Harley pulled away "Puddin i-" joker cut her off
"Baby I wanna try again"
Harleys eyes sparkled "REALLY?!" then kissed him again. Harley was so excited she didn't know what to do, then it hit her, "what if that's the whisky talking?" She brushed that thought off and focused on her Puddin, they were gonna start a family.
IVYS POV
I woke up and Harley was gone, I looked for her everywhere, my shirt was back on the bed, and her keys were missing, I'm not giving her up that easily this time, not after everything we just went through, not after what he did to her. I grabbed my keys and sped to their place, I'm not gonna let him break her this time. I got to their place and ponded on the door "OPEN UP CLOWN " the door opened and it was Harley, she looked surprised to see me
"Red what are you doing here" she whispered
"You went back to him after everything, you still want him? How could you let yourself be his doormat?"
"HEY! I am not a doormat" this got jokers attention, I looked him dead in the eye and then kissed Harley, she pulled back "red...I, what are you doing?"
"Harley I love you"
"I uhm-" joker cut her off
"So that's how you talk to someone you love? You call them a doormat?" Joker asked with a smile "why, that doesn't sound like love at all"
I rolled my eyes "oh please like you would know what love even is" Harley was looking really confused at this point
Joker grabbed her hand "cmon pumpkin, we have enough house plants around here" he snickered
"Harley, baby please"
Harley finally spoke up "red, I....I think you should go, I'll text you, Ok?"
I snapped, I didn't mean to but I did, "FINE y'know what Harley, don't text me, I've been there for you every time he hasn't been, yet you always run back to him, you only ever call me when he beats you, but now I'm not gonna pick up, I'm not gonna save you, cause you'll just go back to the same situation I saved you from! Goodbye Harley" I turned and slammed the door, I sped home crying, I just lost the only person I've ever loved
