Scorpius's POV

"This is all your fault!"

"Oh come on! It wasn't that bad," I said, turning away so Rose wouldn't see my smile as she marched across the crowded lawn.

"My ONE chance to be a Maid of Honour gets ruined because of a pair of damn heels!" she scowled, snatching up a floating glass of butterbeer. "My life."

She lifted her head to take a swig when I quickly snatched the glass out of her hand.

"Dude!"

"Remember what happened the last time you drank too much?"

"Remember what happened the last time I wore heels? Oh wait..." she threw me a look.

"Look, I'm sorry you tripped while walking down the aisle ... and crashed into the priest," I said, wrapping my arms around her. "Forgive me?"

I gave her a puppy-like look.

"I will if you give me my butterbeer," she returned in a childish voice, and I laughed.

"Okay, here you go," I handed her the glass. "See, this is called true love!" I said to no one in particular as I adjusted my arm around her shoulders.

"You mean letting someone embarrass herself by falling on her face at a Wedding in front of 50 people?" She snorted. "Right. The epitome of love right here everybody! When in doubt come to Scorpius Malfoy!" She flourished. "Bravo, the professional love expert."

"I am in some places," I said with a wink, causing her eyes to narrow dangerously but I was quickly saved by loud ringing erupting from my pocket.

Rose frowned, "Is that ..."

I quickly slipped my hand into my back pocket and yanked out my Cellphone. When I caught sight of who it was I groaned.

    Charles.

Not again.

"I'll be right back," I said, before weaving my way through the crowd towards a corner, ignoring the startled yelps that came from the people around me.

"Goodness me! It's a fire!" One woman cried out as the ringing from my phone continued but I ignored her still.

Once I reached a quiet corner I quickly sucked in a breath before drawing the phone to my ear.

     "What is it now?"

"Okay!" Charles exclaimed and I was surprised to hear excitement full in his voice. "I think I have the answer!"

"Not this again!" I groaned, pressing a hand to my forehead. "Why can't you call Karl instead? He's part of this too!"
