Chamony was livid, Isaac was annoyed and livid, and Sydney was livid, annoyed and confused.
So basically, nothing was right.
Isaac had completely flipped out on Chamony over something so stupid that she started to wonder just why in the hell she continued to give him the time of day.
The tattoo, which spelled out the name Amelia, clearly represented someone from his past. Or maybe even present. Whatever the case, it was painfully obvious he still had strong feelings for the girl.
Maybe even loved her.
Why he was in a relationship with Sydney when he was clearly still stuck on this Amelia person, was beyond Chamony, but whatever his screwed up reasons; they had nothing to do with her. And after his temper tantrum, she also wanted nothing to do with him.
White people are always so da*n extra, but let a black person have an outburst like he did and the police, swat, and FBI would be called in.
Meanwhile, Isaac was dealing with his feelings, those da*n things seemed to be eating him up lately.
He hadn't meant to snap on Chamony like he had. It was honestly a poor mistake on his part, but he tried to warn her. He told her she was treading on thin ice and what did she do? She went freaking figure skating.
He didn't want her to leave, but he also didn't want her around anymore. He wanted to apologize and let her know why he reacted the way he did, but he also wanted to tell her to fu*k off and knock her arrogance down a few pegs. He wanted everything, and yet he wanted nothing.
It was official; Chamony Wells had gotten under his skin.
After he told her to leave, the situation only became more detrimental as Sydney who had apparently witnessed the whole thing, came ready for a fight. One of her friends had apparently seen him and Chamony the night before, exaggerated what she saw and now Sydney was accusing him of everything under the sun.
With the exam less than three hours away, it was the last thing he needed to be dealing with.
He tried reasoning with the blonde, explaining that she had nothing to worry about, that he and Chamony were simply friends, and even that was stretching it.
They couldn't even have a decent conversation without it ending in a fight.
His girlfriend wasn't trying to hear that though. She was an emotional mess, forcing herself to cry as she asked him why didn't tell her about Chamony.
Then, when he explained how he didn't see what the big deal was, that everything was platonic, she had snapped.
Calling the other girl everything from ghetto trash to an ugly hoodrat, Isaac had had enough when she decided to share that "those people needed to stick to their own." Taking the same tone he had with Chamony just under an hour ago, he informed her he wasn't about to sit there and listen to her 'racist sh*t' and told her to find him when she 'calmed the fu*k down.'
After giving his brain a twenty minute cool down, he attempted to study, unable to do so as thoughts of not-his-girlfriend Chamony filled his head. Pushing the papers away from him, he decided to hit the gym for a quick workout to clear his mind. It was either that or call his brother and tell him about the black girl that had his priorities all out of whack.
He decided to go with the workout.
It worked, a little, until he walked into his exam late and found the the only empty seat was next to no one other than Ms. Wells.
