I couldn't help but follow Connor and Emily. He looked miserable, being dragged away by Emily.

Connor broke away from Emily and came to the edge of the cliff. "Connor!" I yelled. "Connor! What are you doing?" Sure, the ocean helped people relax, but he was way too close to the edge for me to feel comfortable.

"Connor? Are you alright?" His hands balled into a fist. He didn't turn around or give any sign that he even heard what I said.

"Connor, I'm sorry but you don't need Emily. You have me." I took a step closer. He said and did nothing. "I'm sorry really about your dad. I didn't know him well, but when we did talk, I enjoyed his company." Still, no response.

"Hey, I know this isn't the place, but I have to tell you something you need to know. We've known each other forever, you know me better than anyone else. I don't know why it took me so long to admit, maybe I was afraid of accepting myself, but I think I love you Connor Franta." I was afraid to go any closer.

No reaction.

"Connor? Did you hear me? I love you, and I think we can work things out maybe?"

I don't know if he heard me or not. I hope he did, because a second later, he seemed to disappear.
