That night

"Soooo where are we staying?" I say as all three of them, Shane, Maverick and Tanner walk out of the trampoline park. It's kinda fun because I get to actually try a backflip on a trampoline with the help of Tanner, of course.

"Tanner I. Don't. Know. How. To. Backflip." I say it again as Tanner keeps pursuing me to try a backflip.

"Come on babeeee... It's gonna be hella fun, beside you have ME!!!"

"Okay fine I'll try, you'll have to pay for my medical bills if anything happens"

"That won't happen as long as I'm the one who teaches you."

I start to jump on the trampoline, as slowly as ever.

"Are you ready??? Jump HARDER!! Okay I'm gonna flip you in 3...2...."

I do as told and when he counts to one, I close my eyes and try to let him take over. But somewhere somehow, my body decides to tense up on the last second and I landed back first. Ouch.

"AGAIN BABBE!!! YOU WERE SO CLOSE." He's literally screaming of excitement.

"This time, try to relax and lean back a lil" he says holding me up.

Okay Alaska, you got this. You've always wanted to do a backflip so here you are.. Doing one, do it right.

I try to get my confidence back and jump, with Tanner counting down. When he reaches one, I lean back a little and Tanner flips me over, causing me to land perfectly.

"OHMYGOD BABE YOU DID IT!!!! I knew you could do it!!!" He's jumping around, well, we're jumping around and I decide to just flip, it just so happen and I land perfectly, without Tanner's help.

"YOURE A PRO NOW!!!! EVEN BETTER THAN ME"

And that's basically how the night ended.

"We're actually gonna stay in a friend's house so yea" Maverick tells me.

"Ah... Okay"

I go outside to the backyard of their friend's house, looking up at the star filled sky, trying to count them. It's a little cold so I'm wearing my TFox hoodie and kinda just crossing my arms and laying on the cold grass.

"Hey what'chu doing?" Tanner startles me a bit as he walks to the backyard in his black shirt.

"Just counting the stars. Wanna join me?" I say, sitting up and patting the space next to me for him to sit.

"Yay you showered" I immediately mess around with his hair because his shower hair feels so freakin good. And looks hella nice too. Tanner likes the feeling, I like the feeling too.

"Tanner, how many nights does it take to count the stars?"

"Err... I don't know? Probably a really long time"

"That's the time it would take to fix my heart so don't you dare break my heart TANNER" I say, ending it on a dramatic note with my face so close to him and eyes looking at him half seriously and half playfully.

"I. Won't. Do. That. Alaska Beatrix Sawyer. Never. In. A. Million. Years."

"Promise?" I stick out my pinkie at him. I still think pinkie promises as a way of trust.

"Promise." Our pinkies join together.

"What do you want to do now?" He asks me, both of us lying face up on the grass.

"I'm not sleepy but... Do you wanna maybe just walk around or something"

"Okay, get your phone's flashlight and just make this place lit" he instructs me as I hold his camera on one hand and my phone on the other hand while he does some scooter stunts on the street.

"Careful Tanner." I say occasionally when I see Tanner does a backflip or front flip on his scooter and there's only so little space for you to do one.

"Don't worry, I got this." He says and continue doing front flips. Just when he said that, he hits something and falls face first on the road.

"OMG TANNER!!! YOU OKAY??" I put the camera on the ground and check on him.

"That's a really big scab you got there" I try to gently touch it and he just screams of pain.

"Okay let's get you fix" I try to grab his camera and my phone on my left hand and let Tanner lean on my right side as I bring him in.

"I think everyone's asleep" I whisper as I set Tanner down on a kitchen stool and grab a towel soaked in cold water.

I slowly clean the dirt on his face, memorizing every detail on his face. Got some antiseptic and band aid to put on his scab.

"Thanks. It would be worst if it wasn't for you." He takes my hands and look me straight in the eye.

"I told you to be careful but you wouldn't listen."

"Well I guess I did FALL for you"

"I guess that was a hard fall" I raise my eyebrows at him and give him a kiss on the lips.

"I'm glad that you're okay" I smile.
