"Excuse me.....excuse me" I make my way through the crowd, going for Drew.
"Miss you can't be here"
"I'm his friend" I jump into the back of the ambulance not caring about anything.
His face is messed up.
There's blood everywhere. On his face, his clothes, the stretcher.
I pull out my phone to text Alex.
To Alex: hey I'm sorry, something came up and I'm in the hospital.
"Hang in there Drew...."

"Where's Drew???" A worried Rachel running through the hall followed by Josh at the back, his face shocked.
I've been sitting outside the emergency room for about an hour and there's still nothing.
"Holy shit what happened ABS?" Josh asks.
"I don't know Josh!! It's probably because he's heart broken that I only like him as a friend and that that girl dumped him and ..... I don't know what ...." I'm word vomiting and I forgot how to speak.
I put my head in my hand and just grunt.
"It's all my fault."
"Al, don't say that!" Rachel pats my head softly.
"And in any minute the doctor's gonna come out and he's gonna tel us that our Drew is A-okay"
I don't know whether Rachel has psychic senses but after she said that the doctor comes out of the room. I jump out of my state and eagerly speaks to the doctor.
"How is he?? Is he okay?"
The doctor gives out a sigh.

"I'm afraid that your friend is in a critical condition, he was dead for a minute and now his heart rate is really really unstable. Only time will tell what's next for your friend here. I suggest you to be mentally prepared for the worst."
I stare at the ground with my mouth wide open. Is he going to die? No Alaska, you can't just say that! You gotta stay positive! There's still a chance for him to live right?
"Is it okay if we see him now?" Rachel asks, holding me because I feel like I'm gonna fall any moment now.
"Yes, but only for 30 minutes."
We follow the doctor into the room and oh my lord, Drew is lying lifelessly on the bed with all the heavy machinery attached to him. It's terrifying to see him like this.
"Hey guys...." Drew speaks softly, barely any life from the tone of his voice.
"I'll leave you guys here then" the doctor says and walks out.
"We thought you were dead! What were you doing???!" I'm angry at him even though I didn't even hear his side of the story.
"I'm....sorry.....guys"
Our 30-minute talk is over. Rachel and Josh went home and I'm still there outside the emergency room.
"Al!"
I turn to look and it's Tanner and Alex. Wow, it's been like forever.
"Where's Drew?!" Alex asks.
"In there." I currently don't have the mood to talk to people now, I'm rethinking my entire life.
"Hey Al, I got you some hot cocoa" Tanner gives me the cup of hot cocoa. Tanner always knows what I need in all situations.
"Guess what Alesska" Alex says.
I look at him with a confused look.
"I got the job" he flashes me the biggest smile I've ever seen.
"REally? That's Awesome" my mood is back to normal after hearing about that.
"I'm so so so sooo happy for you" I hug Alex tightly.
"And my shift is from 12 to 10 at night" he lets go.
I feel arms around my neck and breaths on my ear. Tanner.
"I'll steal Alaska for a moment now thank you" he pulls me into another hallway, not far from Drew's room.
"I've missed you." He says, hands cupping my cheeks as we sway in a rhythm.
"I've missed you too"
"You weren't with me the entire day" he makes a sad face.
"Awwww" I place gentle kisses on his lips.
Isn't it romantic? PDA in a hospital.
"EXCUSE ME. This is an emergency!!" A couple of nurses run pass us..... into the room where Drew is.
