Don't forget ladies... On Wednesdays we wear pink!

"Diana?" I called as I closed the door behind of me, expecting her to come embrace me with hugs and kisses. Though, to my disappointment, she was nowhere to be seen. I continued walking down the hallway, waiting for her to stop hiding from me. "Hello?"
The house was completely silent, not a single sound coming from anywhere. I was walking slowly, almost as if I was scared someone would jump out of nowhere and attack me. It was that kind of silence lingering in the air.
Scooter's words were still plastered all over my mind, reminding me that I might not have been the greatest boyfriend these past few hours. If Diana found out, she would be furious and probably never forgive me. I paid her parents off, it was the worst decision I could have made but at the same time, it was needed. I couldn't go to bed every night, lay beside her and think it would solve itself. I had to take action. I can't be scared of being seen with her in case someone would call the police. I did what I did, for the better.
Hopefully, it would help us heal.
"Diana?" I called out her name once more, hoping that this time I would get a reply. I had no idea where she could be. I had been gone for an hour, she would have texted me if she left the house.
I sighed, realising the TV was still on which was odd. That was a sign that she must be somewhere in the house, at least. Diana would never leave the TV on without anyone watching it. Maybe she was in the bathroom or grabbing something from upstairs.
I held my breath as I walked into the kitchen, preparing something to eat for the two of us. It was like everything happened quickly but suddenly I heard a sound from upstairs and before I could call Diana's name again I heard steps in the staircase.
I turned around, expecting to see Diana there but, instead, a rough-looking Zac stumbled down the stairs. It took me two seconds to process that he was inside my house and that Diana came down a few moments later, as well. She stared at me for multiple seconds before she looked down and avoided my gaze like she usually did when she knew she was wrong on something.
As if she knew she had been caught and didn't want to seem more guilty.
"What the hell?" I questioned and walked up to the two of them, both of them pretending like they didn't just stumble down the stairs together looking suspicious. "What is this?"
Diana bit her lip, "You said two hours."
"You didn't say you would have company." I rolled my eyes at her childish ways. There was no doubt that she was continuing to believe she had done nothing wrong, batting her eyelashes to me as if that would make me forget about everything. I gave Zac a disgusting look, "Get out."
"Hey listen, man, all respect to you. I didn't mea-"
"I said get out!" I interrupted him before the stupid sound of his voice filled my ears even more. I didn't know what they had done together just now and I was nowhere interested to know. Zac didn't hesitate before he mumbled a goodbye to Diana and walked past me, taking only ten seconds before the door hit shut.
"Well, that was unnecessary." Diana crossed her arms. I almost laughed at her, thinking she was in charge here. I wanted to remind her whose house she's staying at, why and who I am to her. It was obvious she had forgotten about me for a few moments there.
I shook my head slowly. "I don't care what you have to say right now."
"It's not like that!" She immediately complained about my ways to jump to conclusions. "Seriously, stop thinking you know everything. You should ask me why he was here."
