On that day, something else important was said. "Would wednesday and friday be alright for you?" When the teacher said that, you nearly choked. The smile immediately disappeared from your face and you were completely somewhere else in your mind. You didn't know how to answer to this question, or even what face you should make. You weren't sure if this awakening feeling would take you in the right direction, because what if he won't like you or if he already has a girlfriend. These thoughts ran through your mind in about two seconds, while you were staring at a crack in the wall. Because you were still under the influence of your thoughts for a long time, you didn't dare to risk verbal answering, in fear of making a sound similar to the mixture of a donkey and an elephant in result. So you rather just nodded, and said goodbye after the bell went. You took your way to your locker, where you kept your coat and P.E. kit. You took your coat out and waited by the gate for Arushi. She arrived quite soon. You always walked home together, as you lived on the same road. But of course, you were the one who had to walk alone in the last five minutes.

When you got to a crossroad and the traffic light was red, what you were scared of the whole time had happened.

"By the way, where did you go on maths?" Arushi asked.

Her question felt like a knife was stabbed into your stomach. No wonder, since that moment you looked into each other's eyes with Kaneki, you can't get him out of your head. He is yours, and don't anyone dare to touch him (not literally...). You had to keep it as a secret somehow.

"Duh. I just had to fill some paper out about the school." You said, avoiding eye contact with Arushi. How crap this lie was! You thought it.

"Ah, why... I thought you met the new kid for a moment. You're a peer mentor after all."

You really couldn't say anything, especially to this. If you say that it was a lie what you said before, that's obviously a bad idea. But if you don't tell the truth, it will turn out next tutor time. Luckily, your phone's ringing saved you.

"Hi (name). We are not home at the moment. A package should arrive today between four and six o'clock.. If someone knocks at the door, it's just the postman. Kiss. Mum." After you read the text, you pretended that Arushi didn't say anything. Meanwhile, you arrived home.

At home, you fell in your bed. And no one knocked on the door. You took your phone out and with your headphone on your head in the bed, you leaned against the wall and listened to music. Those mesmerising eyes. Not even in the fifty shades of grey you could find a colour similar to that. You spent the rest of the day dreaming about him regardless of your own will. Before you went to sleep, you had the feeling that you felt when the teacher asked your help. How am I going to forget him if he doesn't like me? Or if he already has a girlfriend? How am I going to get over him when I have to see him every week? Alone. Just him and me. In a silent place. Before you fell asleep, you checked your time table. Tutor after break. The mixture of your thoughts and feelings made a slight smile on your face, but not more, as the other side of you commanded stop. You went back to your bed and with wondering about tomorow, you fell asleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you woke up next day, following your morning routine, you stood in front of the mirror and enhanced your eyelashes, which was almost a bit boring now. Since it was a quite pleasent weather outside, of course you grabbed the opportunity and went to school in shoes instead of boots.
Your first lesson was english with a supply teacher, which was boring. In more details? Boring. Fortunately, biology was a little bit better after. But it's only because your classmate Tsukiyama (yes, he is older, but whatever :p) drew a Kawaii unicorn on the board before the teacher arrived.
In break, you went to the library with Arushi, keeping yourselves to your tradition. This time both of you went upstairs to read, as every seat was taken downstairs. In the pleasent background noise of quiet conversations and paper crinklings, you settled yourself in comfort and peace. You were ignoring the outside world with calmness, when you heard footsteps on the stairs. There were two other people apart from you and Arushi, but they weren't even bothered by it. Arushi just kept on reading her book. Your paranoid instincts encouraged you to look out from your book. You tried to ignore the outside world, but as the footsteps got closer, your instincts won and you persuaded yourselv to glance out. But you rapidly ordered your eyes back on your book when you recognised the person. Those unmistakable grey eyes. You were actually happy to see him, but now, that Arushi is here, please don't. When he made his way to your table (as the other one was occupied by strangers), you already knew that there's going to be a big trouble. Kaneki sat down opposite you with his book in his hand. For the sound of the chair, Arushi looked up and her eyes stuck on Kaneki.
"So you're the new boy?"
A/N: I guess this chapter wasn't that bad either, since you made it to here. Just keep reading...
