Astral, Yuma's invisible dualest and friend happens across someone from his home world, it was a girl he had always had a strong connection with however after he lost his 99 number cards and therefore his memory he forgot about his previous feelings...
First of all here we have Stella a former member of the Astral world, a galaxy deep in space however after Astral was transported to the earth world and started assisting Yuma he was labeled as tainted by his own people. Stella was the only one who stood up and defended him because she once was in a deep relationship with her lover before he was sent away, Stella hated the idea of people ridaculing the gentle and kind Astral so she fought against the word of their people. This however came at great consequence because she was also labed as tainted and banished from the Astral world forever. She was banished to the earth world however because of this her alien gene's are unstable and her life force slowly depleats.

This is Astral he was sent to the earth world as 'the saviour' of the Astral world however he lost all memories of what he was sent to do, Yuma helped him to collect a few of the first number cards helping him regain some memories and the newest one he regained was of a girl from his home world. After seeing this memory something felt strange within Astral he felt sadness and loneliness however he knew not why, was this girl important and if so would he ever see her again? So many questions float around in Astrals mind until one day he finds that one girl and needs to help save her life force.

Yuma is a dualier and a passionate one at that he is powerful as he is equipped with his best card monster number 39 Utopia although he is strong that doesn't make him the smartest of fighters. Astral helps him with battle stratagy, as time is going on Yuma is slowly getting better at fighting and smarter as he uses his head more.

Shark is just one of Yuma's many friends, He is a smart and powerful duelier who is quick to think and act whilst in a dual. He used to have the number 17 card, Leviathan Dragon it was possesing him however Yuma with the help of Astral defeated him in a dual freeing him from the cards grasp and returning the first fragment of Astral's memory, after that day Shark and Yuma became friends and looked out for one another. He now controls number 32 Shark Drake.
