Alice's POV
Steff came back from her date earlier then expected. She came back crying hysterically and went straight to her room where she closed the door behind her. I went and put Joanne down in bed then went and waited outside her door. I wanted to leave her alone for a while before going to find out what is wrong. I honestly had no idea what has happened. She and Hamish had seemed so happy when going off tonight and I couldn't imagine anything happening since then.
I sat silently for 10 minutes before her crying softened. I gently walked in and lay down beside her.
"He broke up with me." She whispered.
I didn't reply because I didn't know what to say.
"He said he couldn't keep coming out to see me and he couldn't come along with me. He just wanted a simple life. As you have seen I can't give someone that. I am a thunderstorm and it effects everyone I love." She cries.
"Steff don't say that. Yeah maybe your life is a thunderstorm but people are lucky to be in it with you. You are definitely the MOST amazing person I know and I know I am glad to be in this thunderstorm with you. If he wasn't then he obviously isn't the right one. But I know that you will find him. You will grow old together and be happy forever, thunderstorm or not."
"You know Alice I am so glad I have you. Maybe your all I need." She says before closing her eyes and falling asleep.
