"Well I guess this is it." Steff says as we land back in New york. "I'm really going to miss touring with you."
"Same." I say, "This has been amazing. Thank you for letting me come with you."
"Thanks for coming with me." She says.
The plane door opens so I get Joanne and head off along with Steff and the rest of her crew.
We all stand around on the tarmac hugging and crying. We were all sad that another tour was over.
We went out and met Cynthia and Joe who were waiting for us. Neither Steff or I had seen either of them in a long time.
"Wow look how much Joanne has grown." Cynthia exclaims as she sees Joanne. It is true. She can now walk on her own. Her vocabulary has also massively improved. She is starting to look a lot more like Steff.
Steff's parents take us out to dinner.
"So Alice, how would you describe the tour in 3 words." Joe asks me as we sit down for dinner.
"I don't think that that level of just plain awesomeness can be described in 3 words." I say. "But it was definitely the best experience in my entire life."
Steff puts her arm around me. "It was a pretty amazing tour."
"Tell me all of the best parts." Cynthia asks.
I tell her all about all the sight seeing and gallery hopping we did. As well as Steff's boyfriend and then putting on an art show for him. I also told her all about my adventures trying to find a friend. Then how I now had an amazing friend who I had seen about 5 times now. All of those times being amazing. Not to mention being able to travel the globe with Steff and watching her preform in concerts most nights.
"So yeah it was a pretty amazing experience." I finish. "I hope I get to do it again."
Well I'm glad you had such a good time." She says.
We continue to talk while we eat our dinner.
It was an amazing end to an amazing tour.
