As the time to meet the Mikaelsons neared you slipped back on the shoes you had taken off and began to walk to the spot where Rebekah had said to meet. When you got there, you saw that Elijah, Nik, and Rebekah were already there, preparing to say goodbye to their mother.

You silently walked towards Elijah and wrapped your hand around his. He smiled softly at you, and pulled you close to him, never wanting to let you go. Tears flooded Rebekah's eyes as Niklaus finished burying their mother.

You knew that Nik was remorseful, yet on some level, he felt as though his mother had deserved this. Esther had turned her back on her children, and so had Mikael. All they had were each other now. "I know you think she hated you Nik, but she did not. She was just afraid. I'm sorry she turned her back on you, but I never will," Rebekah told him, holding his hand to comfort him.

"Neither will I," Elijah responded. "We will stick together no matter what. Always and forever, against Mikael and whatever other evil that may befall us," you stated. Niklaus nodded his head taking your other hand in his.

The Mikaelsons finished saying their goodbyes to Esther and you looked up at Elijah. He placed a kiss on your temple, feeling safer and happier because you were right there next to him. "We must find a way to stop Mikael before he finds a way to stop all of our hearts," Nik told the group. You nodded your head, agreeing, but asked, "How do you kill an immortal?"

Niklaus raised an eyebrow as he thought and Rebekah explained, "The wood of a tree, the White Oak Tree, was the only thing that could kill us. But, we burned it to the ground to keep our family safe."

"So, there is nothing that we could use to stop Father?" Elijah asked. "Wait. The tree itself held the magical properties not the wood, right? So what if the ashes still worked? What if we used them to make a dagger?" you questioned. Nik thought about it and responded, "That is a fantastic idea, Y/N, but there is no guarantee that it will work."

"Well, even if it does not work, it will still kill him for the amount of time a wooden stake to the heart would kill a normal vampire. That gives us enough time to get away," you replied.

Nik looked at his brother and sister asking for their opinion on the matter. "I think that Y/N's plan is the best option," Rebekah stated. You gave her a small smile and Elijah asked, "Yes, but who shall be the one to stab our father?" "I will," Nik answered. "Nik, you cannot do it by yourself. Mikael is too powerful," you told him.

"Then we shall all work together to hold him in place, and at the right moment, I shall be the one to drive the stake through his heart," Niklaus responded. You nodded your head, agreeing to the plan, and after another moment, Elijah and Rebekah agreed as well.

"Well, since we are all on accords I think we should commence now. Is everybody ready?" Niklaus then said. You nodded your head and looked at the other two Mikaelsons, who reluctantly nodded theirs as well. Once everyone had agreed that killing Mikael right now was for the best, Niklaus began to lead you all to create the stake.

Before you could follow him though, Elijah held you by the arm, making you stay next to him. "Y/N, my father is very dangerous. Please, you have to be careful, I do not know what I would do if I ever lost you," Elijah told you.

You nodded your head and replied, "You will never lose me, Elijah, I promise you that." Elijah smiled before responding, "I love you." You stood there shocked and so happy at the same time as those three words left his mouth. You had fallen for the Mikaelson, but you thought that maybe you had fallen too soon, and you were going to give Elijah more time to feel the same about you.

But, he already did feel the same way, and he just confessed it to you. You smiled and replied, "I love you too, Elijah." Elijah then got his own grin on his face as he pulled you into a kiss.
