KAI'S P.O.V.
TJ and I open the door and find my parents kissing. I turn and run and TJ chases after me. I find the womans restroom and run in. I go in the the very last stall, lock the door, and sit on the top of the toilet.
Surprisingly TJ came running in after me. He knocked on the stall door.
"Hey. Do you want to talk?" He asked me. I didnt answer. He then crawls under the door and into the stall.
I look at him. He sat on the floor with his legs crossed. I cant help but laugh. "You turd." I say laughing as I slap him slightly on the face. He laughs and he says "Are you sure you dont want to talk?" "I dont know. It was all so sudden. I think I need some fresh air." I answer. He nods and looks up at me "You have a really nice smile." He says. I smile knowing thats why he said that. He was trying to make me happy. But I wasnt. After seeing my mom- I just want it to be like that moment didnt even happen.
TJ'S P.O.V.
I tell Kai "You have a really nice smile." then she smiles. Im only trying to cheer her up but i can tell she is hurting on the inside. The father she never had just all of the sudden can be back in her life. That must be really hard.
"Here, I'll take you outside. Get some fresh air. Like you said." I told her. She looks at me and nods and we head to the door and walk outside.
"Hey and if you want I can drive you to the beach. We can go down there and relax a little." I said as we stepped outside. "You have your own car?!" She asks me. At this moment im thinking she is like 14 years old. "Um yeah im turning 18 in a few months." I said "Oh well we dont have the and never did have the money for me to get a car so thats why I asked." She said. I was so relieved. I didnt want to like a girl who was just starting in secondary school. "Oh well thats to bad. Hey by the way, I never asked. How old are you." I asked. "Im 17 turning 18 in about 5 months. " she said. Again I was relieved that ahe wasnt younger than me.
"Um.. my car is over here. Lets go." I say and she follows me to my car.
