Danny's POV:
" Okay, yeah, yeah, sure, bye. " I hung up the phone and threw at the wall. On top, of this morning's events, Rachel just informed me that her and Stan planned to take Grace and Charlie to look at schools on the main land. Indiana she said. I walked over to the couch and kicked the leg. I cried out, my foot burned.
I poured a glass of whiskey and downed it in one shot. I let the warm liquid calm my nerves. I sat down and took a deep breath, trying to untangle my thoughts and feelings. I was finally relaxing when the doorbell rang. I glanced at my watch, it read 11:39. Who would be ringing the bell at this hour? I wondered. I walked over to the door and opened it up.
Steve stood on my porch, hands in his pockets, tension in his shoulders. I spoke up, " Steve, what are y-" He held his hand up and walked towards me. I didn't know what he was doing until he took my face in his hands and kissed me. His soft lips moved in sync with mine as he pulled me closer. I pulled away from the kiss to meet his intense stare, his green eyes twinkling. I grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him into the house. Steve closed the door and slammed me into the wall. He smashed his lips against mine, running his fingers along my jawline.
He pulled away and began to unbutton his shirt. I pulled my shirt over my head, my heart beating faster and faster. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me in for another kiss, but I turned my head away. "What are we doing, what does this mean, Steve?" I looked into his bright eyes. " Just shut up Danny, for once in your goddamn life, just shut up." He whispered. I laughed and pulled him into me again, parting his lips with my tongue, causing him to moan quietly.
I pulled him towards the dining room table and knocked the glasses to floor, hearing the crash as I pushed him onto the table. He lay on his back as I straddled his legs and pinned his arms above his head. He engulfed me in his lips, forcing me to buckle my knees. I could barely focus on Steve, too many thoughts going through my head. What will happen if someone finds out? Will we have to find different partners? Does Steve actually feel the same way?
Suddenly, Steve pulled away, frowning, "You okay?" I blinked away the thoughts running through my mind and leaned into him again. Steve took my shoulders and flipped me over. He began to grind his hips into mine, leaving small kisses on my jawline.
When I couldn't take it anymore, I pushed him off of me and grabbed his hand. I pulled him into the bedroom and closed the door behind me. He turned off the lights and continued where we stopped into the night, leaving all our worries for another day.
