I head through the woods following the familiar smell of sage that I finally found after 15 minutes of searching. After a brief walk I make it to the flower covered stone house that occupied Dean the oracle and his grandmother, Elaine.

I walk up the steps hearing my shoes patter against them as I brainstorm on where exactly I'm going to stay after my great proclamation to Killian of me leaving the house. I guess I could go into town for a while and see if they have a hotel or something, since that is my only option at this moment.

Stopping at the door I reach my fist back and knock on it hearing the sound reverberate through the house as footsteps come my way and open the door revealing Dean, earbuds in his ear blasting some rock song that I didn't know. He took an earbud out and raised an eyebrow at me, "You gonna come in or what?" He questions stepping farther back to give me more space to enter. I pass the entrance as the smell of chicken wafts to me, and I look at the clock to see it's 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I guess Elaine is making chicken for dinner. Dean passes by me heading to the living room where there was a game console and playing some type of shooting game. He sits down and presses play continuing a game and having gunshots sound throughout the TV.

I sit there uncomfortably not knowing what to do and if I should interrupt his game play to give him his wanted update.

"So are you going to tell me what has happened since your first visit or are you just going to sit there awkwardly?" he chuckles, as he shoots someone in the head. I cringe at the virtual blood splatter and clear my throat readying him for my whole story.

Before I can even speak he interrupts me, "Oh god has so much happened that you had to clear your throat?" he groans out.

"Yeah, pretty much." I shrug waiting for a response as he continues playing.

"Well go ahead and tell it." He says as he sits up moving his body with his avatar on the game as if it will improve his gaming. I raise an eyebrow at him which makes him stop his shuffling and look at me breathing out a long sigh.

"Ok now I have to pause it to make it seem like I'm actually paying attention? Ok fine, please speak." He says pausing the game placing the controller on the coffee table.

I then start to describe my week from my almost kiss with Killian, to finding out my brother is Adam's mate, and finally to declaring I'm leaving the pack house. I finish with a long inhale of breath from all the talking to see Dean putting on a thoughtful face, probably sorting my jumbled mess of an update.

"Damn, that sucks." he finally says as he picks up his controller and presses play.

I roll my eyes and let out a groan of frustration, "For an Oracle you're no help at all." I say sitting back on the loveseat and putting my feet on the coffee table.

"Listen Everest, I'm not here to help I'm here to deliver." He says landing a final kill on one of his enemies before the game ends. "I can only give a message you do with it what you will." He says waving the controller in the air.

"But that's the thing you idiot, you never told me what exactly that message was." I say trying not to shout and have Elaine who is humming in the kitchen to interrupt our 'meeting'.

"I didn't?" He questions curiously.

"No you didn't." I say snipply already tired of his attitude.

"Now that I think about it I guess I never did." He says as a frown etches on his face. I wait for him to elaborate as he shrugs and throws the controller next to him.

"So what is it?"

"It's complicated so how about instead of telling you, I show you." Before I can question what he means he grabs my head in his hands and stares at me as I look back at him in confusion slapping his hands off my face.
