"Everest what did you do?"

I look up at his frantic expression as Jayden looks around suspiciously people looking at me in suspicion as my eyebrows knit together. Me?

"I didn't do anything, smell the air, it was her." I say pointing an accusing finger out the window drawing his attention to Olivia's retreating figure becoming hidden in the brush of the forest. Jayden's eyes widen as he looks at her, his eyes suddenly shut as he takes a deep inhale of the air before they snap open in panic and his grip on my arm tightens.

"Shit, we have to go." He grabs my forearm lifting me off the floor in one swift move as I try not to stumble at his fast pace as he shocks me shoving past people trying to question me what happened and ignoring Adam's call for the both of us as he runs down the hallway. I pull against him trying to get back to Killian his unconscious body still lying on the floor as people crowd around him hiding him from me.

"Jayden let me go, Killian's hurt!" I yell trying to force my feet into the wood floors beneath me as his skin tugs on me rubbing and burning my flesh as he relentlessly tried to pull me behind him obviously getting frustrated.

"This isn't good, how did I not notice her, I have to get you out of here before she hurts you." He mutters obviously consumed in his thoughts not noticing my resistance.

My eyes blurred from tears as I let my frustration get to me and tugged harder against him, making him roughly fall to the ground releasing his grip on me and looking at me in surprise. "I need to make sure he's okay!" I shout feeling my breath quicken in anger as I turn around.

"Everest please don't go we have to leave it isn't safe here!" He shouts at me as I stopped walking down the hallway the worry in his voice intriguing me as I turned around in annoyance.

"What the fuck are you talking about!" I yell worry eating at me for Killian as adrenaline filled my ears with a loud whooshing.

"Its Olivia she's dangerous and I think she's here to kill you." He says fearfully and I hesitate going back at the sincerity in my brother's eyes.

"What do you mean?" I question curiously. What is he on about, has he gone crazy?

"Not right now. Please just trust me, we have to leave." He outstretches his hand making me stare down at it reluctance and untrust weaving its way into my already frantic thoughts.

I shake my head, "No. You're keeping something from me what's going on?"

He huffs out a breath as he gets up from the floor grabbing my wrist. "Fine I'll tell you, but lets go I have a feeling she's going to be coming this way." He says looking up and down the hall before going straight dragging me behind him. "Ok Ever here's the truth, Ive been keeping a secret from you for a long time that you deserve to know." My heart skips a beat at his words as I follow mutely behind him. Is this it? Is he finally going to tell me why Im so 'different'? "As you know Mom and Dad weren't mates, Dad's died and he found Mom and took her as his wife before she met hers." I nod reminiscing on the few pictures of her all showing a straight faced woman that clutched onto my brother. "Well when I was about five I remember mom would leave me alone a lot, claiming odd little excuses, until one day no one could watch me so she had to take me with her on her excursion. She told me we were going to meet her friend and that I couldn't tell dad or we would be in trouble." I swallow hard at where I think this is heading.

"She met with a man and left me to play with toys as they walked away but not far enough seeing as I could still hear them." His steps started to slow as the memories consumed him,  "I remember it so vividly, how she looked at him in worry a great contrast to the fear she usually had when she saw Father. He had yellow eyes that widend so much they looked like they would pop out when she told him she was pregnant." He suddenly stops his running making me slightly bump into him as he turns back to me giving me a serious face, wide eyed.
