The picture is Alesandria Erovex ^_^ So captivating
Her tattered clothes were tangling themselves with her legs, long dark hair falling behind her back as she neared her little cottage, small and isolated in the shadiest past of her village.
The cobblestone road was not friendly to her feet, little sharp pebbles cutting delicate cuts into her sensitive skin and scraping the skin of her feet, the path becoming more rugged as she ran.
Footsteps followed Alesandria close behind, quick and loud through the silent night of the kingdom. Adrenaline overflowed her body, the light, buzzing sensation of her stomach churning squeezing its way up her throat.
The veins in her arms began to glow eerily bright once again, gold energy illuminating her arm in the still quietness of the night, the stars looking down upon her.
The footsteps were becoming closer, the once rhythmic pattern now speeding up to the point where the young woman could feel the sensation of a rushed breath breathing down on her neck. Her system kicked into overdrive, her eyes wide and alert as she pushed herself to run the last few minutes of the windy down to her cottage.
Something sounding of metal, small and squeaky scraped against the cobblestone path as Alesandria saw the outline of her front door, her pace soon quickening, the cold wind chilling her bare body.
A hand wrapped around her wrist, halting her in her tracks. Her feet, clumsy and uncoordinated, tripped over one another and soon she could feel her body lurch forward, the ground practically opening its arm wide for her as the base of her knee collided with the jagged surface of the ground.
A torrid scream ripped from her throat, piercing nails cutting into her skin as the mysterious figure threw her to the floor, cold fingers leaving her arm. Prickly tears, salty and running free, flushed against her red cheeks, black hair tumbling in front of her eyes. The veins within her arms were still glowing, illuminating a bright gold as her hands scrambled for the doorknob.
"I honestly don't want to hold you by your throat" the eerie figure whispered close to her ear, hot breath grazing past the skin of her ear an outline of a shadow revealed itself in the night. The darkness didn't show much but emerald ringed golden eyes that flickered over her shaking body.
Holding the last pieces of her tattered clothes against her chest, Alesandria pleaded once again in a whimper, "Please, let me go. Thank you for saving me but you have to let me go." Blood was still trickling down the sides of her thighs, her fingers shaking with obvious fear.
A small whisper of a laugh rang out through the night, the eerie figure taking another closer to her as it did so. Golden eyes seemed to hold her gaze, the cold sigh of a wind brushing past both of them. "I could let you go" the shadow uttered to her in a voice that was too soft to be true. "But, what would be the point of letting the prey escape?"
