Introducing Draco Vaolcris...excuse me while a get a glass of ice water to cool myself off ^_^
Glass shattered on the floor, the tangy crimson liquid spilling out onto the white fur carpet of the beige candlelit room. Sunlight, amber and bright, spilled into the room, glistening on the crafted steel of a katana sword that laid still on the table.
"Sorry, master. It was never my intention." The girl, as young as sixteen with midnight long hair that complimented the paleness of her moonlight skin and her indigo eyes bowed deeply, the material of her dark-hued skirt kissing the floor.
Dark cerulean eyes mixed with emerald and ringed with a ruby circle stared at the girl, his fingers tapping on the curved hand of the throne he sat on. His legs were crossed over one another, a book cradled in his lap.
A dark cloak, almost as black as the night draped to the carpeted floor, the front held together by a handcrafted golden barrette in the middle of the cloak
Pursing his lips together, he simply nodded his head. "Mistakes happen Delia. Just fetch me another one please" he requested, his fingers curling around a pen. "And clean up this mess."
The girl simply nodded, using her fingers to curl a strand of dark hair behind her ear. "Yes, master. I will do so" she uttered quietly to him, bowing once again before turning around and making her way towards the gold double doors that led to the barely lit hallways.
He watched her with careful eyes, tracking her every move as the young girl curled her fingers around the hem of her skirt, running through the narrow crack of the doors before disappearing down the crook of the hallway.
Just as she disappeared around the corner, another figure came through the door, confident strides with a cocky smile on her face. "You'll have that poor girl sweating through her skirt if you don't stop your smoldering."
"I don't smolder, Yongui" Draco rebuttled.
She raised a brow, shaking her head. "Yes, you do."
Letting a sigh escape his lips, Draco Vaolcris lifted his head to see the door close, watching as the lock turned, hearing the click of the door come into place.
Yongui made herself comfortable at his desk, pouring herself the last of his wine, smelling the honey-lemon scent before she took a sip, wincing at the strong aftertaste.
"Are you done for the day?" she asked, watching as he paced back and forth.
Raking his fingers through his own hair, he casted his gaze down to the book in front of him, scribbles of dark lettering scattered across the pages. Words that were written in ancient languages that he had mastered to read and speak fluently met his vision, circling around his mind until the mere thought of them left a headache throbbing in his head.
"There is always tomorrow to complete today's work" he whispered to himself, his hands pushing the paper in front of him in between the pages of the book before letting the book close, pages covering the papers.
