Royal Guard

Prompto, Gladiolus, Ignis, and I were standing in front of the king. He called us into the thrown room not giving anything away. Whenever he did this it ment one of us was in trouble but he didnt get mad ever he just taught us a valuble lesson like a father teaching his son how to hunt correctly. I know i have made mistakes and so has Prompto. But i had a feeling this was not for a lesson but a possible mission for the four of us.

"I have called you all here because i have a task for all of you. There are some daemons running about and i need them eliminated at once. I will warn you this is no easy task, i have seen the monsters myself and with me being ill i could not take them like i could when Noctis was younger. We have some guests arriving in two days and i need them gone, i also need there nests gone as well. Can you al handle this?" he finished

"Yes your majesty" we all said in unision

"I think you should split into two groups to get them out of the way faster, if for some reason they are harder then expected regroup, heal, and tackle them together. the faster we get them out of here the better" he said

We all kept quiet

"You are dismissed" he said

We bowed down to him and left the thrown room

"So lets split into two groups, if for some reason we need to regroup lets meet back at the front gate" said Ignis

"Ok, lets choose teams" said Gladiolus

"Ill take Storm, Prompto can go with you Gladeo" said Ignis

"Sounds like a plan" said Prompto

I could listen to Ignis talk all day. I wasnt into guys who were tall and lanky. I was more into guys like Gladeo but something about Ignis intrigued me to fall for him hard. You see i have been working for the King for a few months now and i have been working very close with the guys. I loved learning with Ignis and letting him teach me knew things. I even let him teach me stuff i already knew. i did all i could to get close with him no matter the situation.

Ignis and I geared up for the fight, i was excited to fight with him. I was always good at hiding my feelings from people but i could tell it was getting harder and harder by the day.

We stepped outside and it was raining hard. I loved the rain so it didnt bother me non.

"The rain can be so peaceful sometimes" said Ignis out of the blue

"I love the rain, the way it looks, smells, and how it feels on your skin" i said

He looked at me and smiled

I couldnt help but smile back

"Shall we?" he asked

"Yes" i said

We headed out on foot looking for the daemon on the loose. I stopped thinking about Ignis and concentrated on finding the bastard. we went through the gates and headed towards the back of the castle.

"Do you think we will find this thing?" i asked running alongside him

"It cant be that hard to find, since its right there" he said smiling

My face turned bright red

"Oh yeah, that could be the one" i said giving out a nervous chuckle

We grabbed our weapons and headed over to the daemon.
