Stand by me

Little Ignis

I left the bedroom and began walking around the castle mindlessly. I couldn't wrap my head around me being pregnant. I mean I wasn't ready for a kid and I wasn't even sure if I wanted one. To be honest I was scared and I didn't know how to act. I was numb and I felt like I was going to throw up everywhere. I think I saw a few servants here and there but I didn't pay much attention. I walked outside to the fountain in front of the stairs leading to the doors to let you inside. I sat down and put my right hand in the water. It was raining and the sky was darker then before. I began shivering but I didn't care the water in the fountain was warm and something about it kept me there. I heard the door of the castle close and I saw Ignis in the corner of my eye walking towards me. I didn't say a word and I didn't look at him. He was so graceful and elegant when he walked calmly. He was smiling. A little Ignis? God I hope he or she looked like him, was smart like him, and strong like him. He would make an amazing father, I know he would be there for him or her at all times and teach them right from wrong. I want to see us together holding the baby smiling and enjoying life to the fullest.

"There you are, I have been looking for you" he said sitting down beside me

"Sorry" was all I could say

I had way to much on my mind

"Babe your shivering" he said

"Oh" I said not realizing it

"Come on lets go take a hot shower and we can talk about what's going on" he said

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder and lifted me up. we walked side by side into the castle and headed upstairs and into our room. He shut the door and walked into the bathroom and started the shower. He got undressed and came up to me and began to undress me. I was frozen to the spot. He guided me into the shower and stuck me under the warm water. I sat down on the floor and let the water fall down my skin. He sat beside me and held me close. I began crying, I didn't know why I began to cry but I couldn't stop. He let me cry and kissed my shoulder until I finished.

"I..." I began

He waited patiently, God I hope this kid is as patient as him

"I'm........Pregnant" I said

He went completely still, it scared me and I didn't know what to do, fresh tears fell down my face.

"Your pregnant?" he said

"yes" I said

"That's fantastic" he said smiling

"What?" I asked

"I am so happy" he said

"You are?" I asked

"Yes" he said practically hopping in his seat

"What about the king?" I asked

"He will be excited" he said

"I cant fight anymore" I said

"No but we have other things you can do" he said

"What if I'm not ready?" I asked

"I will be there to help you" he said

I grabbed him and gave him a giant hug.

"I love you Ignis" I said

This was the first time I told him out loud

"I love you Storm" he said

He kissed me

"You will make an amazing dad" I said

"You will make a wonderful mother" he said

We waited a few weeks before we decided to tell the king.
