The King and I

A week after the party and the king giving Ignis and I blessings to be together everything has been running smoothly in the kingdom. No Daemons and no sightings of any anywhere else. Ignis let me move into his room and Noctis couldn't be happier for Ignis and I. Prompto kept taking pictures of us. Gladeo kept making fun of us. It was one weird family and I felt like Ignis and I were their parents.

I was walking around the castle like I usually did, making sure nothing was wrong. It was pretty lonely inside because of how big this place was.

"Storm may we talk?" asked the king

"Yes, your majesty" I said

I followed him to his office that was far from the thrown room. I have been in here before but that was when I started working here and he wanted to know more about me.

"Have a seat" he began

I sat down

"Am I in trouble sir?" I asked

"No, not at all" he said

I waited for him to begin.

"So you and Ignis, I would have never guessed that two of my guards have fallen in love right under this very roof. I am so glad to here this and I bet it was not easy for you two to hide it from me. I wish you came to me sooner but hey I can't complain. I have worked with Ignis for a while now and I was kind of afraid he would not find someone he could be completely happy with, I am pleased to see him happy" The king said

"I'm the lucky one" I said

He smiled

"Sir, I fell in love with him a while ago, it was not until a few weeks ago that I found out he was in love with me. we both made a promise, if we were under attack you and Noctis would always come first, not one of us." I said

"I understand" he said

"You have my blessing and I hope you both have a happy future" he said

"Thank you sir" I said

"You are free to go" he said

I stood up bowed to him and left the office with a giant smile on my face
