Stand by me

Fight

I was outside just walking around, enjoying the rain and making sure the castle was safe. Ignis was inside with Gladeo and Prompto was on the other side of the castle keeping an eye out. I liked working with Prompto most days he and I had a lot in common. He and I were newer to the game, younger then the other two and can be sensitive if we have to be.

I was farther back on the premises and everything seemed quiet. But I felt like something was not right. I pulled out my sword and stayed extra cautious, the farther I went the worst the feeling was. 

I decided to call Ignis to let him know

Me: Babe I'm on the right backside of the building and I'm getting a very bad feeling, I don't know what it is

Ignis: stay vigilant and Gladeo and I will be there soon

Me: stay with the king

Ignis: If you need me just call

Me: got it

I hung up the phone and stayed extra cautious

I was passing a tree that has been on the grounds since I the castle was built. Many kings have carved there names and many guards have as well. I hope one day Ignis and I could carve our names into it. I was looking at a name of a past king when I heard some leaves rustle. I turned around and no one was there, I looked up and that's when I saw a Daemon that I have never seen before, it was mixed between a human and a I'm not really sure what else.

I quickly flipped out of the way when I noticed he jumped down from the tree. I began attacking him and trying to kill him before he could get me. I wasn't going to lie I was scared. the way he looked and the way he moved was disturbing. He was way to fast and I had a hard time keeping him from hitting me. I knew I needed help but I didn't have time to hide and call.

The monster clawed my arm making me bleed everywhere. I went to grab a potion when I realized I had no more potions.

"How was this possible" I asked myself

I looked over at the creature he stole my potion.

I went back at him again and attacked him as fast and as hard as I could.

"Storm" I heard Ignis call

I turned and looked at Ignis, Prompto, and Gladeo running towards me. That was a mistake on my part because as soon as I looked the creature clawed my stomach to shreds.

"STORM" I heard Ignis yell

I fell to the ground, I wish I could say I felt pain when he attacked me. I went completely numb. Gladeo and Prompto took out the creature. Ignis held me in his arms trying to make me stay awake.

"Come on baby" he said beginning to cry

"Ignis I am going to lift her and we will run back into the castle to get her some potions." Gladeo said

Gladeo grabbed me and picked me up.

I hissed in pain, I could now feel it sinking in like a poison eating at my skin

"I'm sorry" Gladeo said

Ignis was right on Gladeo's heals. Prompto was silent. We finally made it into the castle and they took me to Ignis's room. Gladeo set me down on the bed and Ignis began working. He grabbed a pair of scissors and cut open my shirt open. Once he saw the damage Prompto began getting upset and Gladeo began helping Ignis.

I was getting tired and my body hurt all over. I knew what was going to happen next, Gladeo was going to have to pin me down while Ignis dug into my wounds and poured medicine in them that will hurt like crazy.

"I'm sorry... I'm getting...blood.. on our bed" I said through heavy breathing

They let out a small laugh

"Ignis, I love you" I said

"I love you, I need you to stay awake" he said

"I'm really tired" I said

"I know baby but you need to stay awake, Prompto make sure she doesn't fall asleep" Ignis said

"Got it" said Prompto
