"I dont know what to say" i began

"You dont have to say anything" he said

"How long have we been working together?" i asked

"Roughly five months now" he said looking out into the distance

"How am i doing?" i asked

"You are doing very well, you have learned quicker than most" he said

"I feel like im failing you guys, the king, and Prince Noctis" i said

He was silent for a few, he seemed to be collecting the right words

"You are not failing, you beat practically two Daemons by yourself today. yeah you may have made some mistakes in the past but hey you learned from them, when i was younger i made the same mistakes and that is why i can teach you things" he said

i sat in silence

"But something tells me, something else is bothering you, you can trust me and i hope you know you can lean on me" he said

"I know, we should head in and get dry" i said

He knodded his head and we walked back to the castle.

we reported back to the king. he was very pleased with our work. The four of us went our seperate ways and headed to our rooms. i needed to change because i was freezing and all i wanted to do was cry.

I headed into my bathroom and ran the hot water, i was grimy and soaked to the bone. I got in and broke down crying. I dont know why i was so emotional, i knew it was wrong to date a kings guard but i wanted to be with him so bad.

"This can not happen, and it will never happen" i said to myself

I got out of the shower and put on a new outfit.

I sat down on my bed and looked out the window, rain was falling harder now and im glad we got the project done when we did. I grabbed the picture that i hid under my pillow that Prompto took of me and Ignis together on our very first road trip with Noctis.

I loved this picture so much

I was startled and set the picture back underneath the pillow, stood up and walked over to the door.
