Stand by me

Emergency

Ignis and i woke up early, we decided to go for a morning run and take a quick dip in the water. we were both about to get into the Regalia when we got a phone call from Noctis.

"Whats up?" i said

"You need to get back here quick, the city is under attack by Monsters, we dont have enough people to get them" he said

"Take shelter, we will be there as fast as we can" i said

"The three of us will try to hold them off" he said

I ended the phone call

"Whats wrong?" Ignis asked

"We have to head back to the city, its under attack" i said

"Get in, if i drive we will get there quicker" he said

We got in and sped away from the ocean. It took us a day to get there we were determind to get back in only a few hours. Ignis was an amazing driver so him speeding didnt scare me, the only thing i worried about was if everyone was ok and if we will be able to defeat the creatures. 

"Ignis what do think it could be?" i asked

"Im not sure, but we should be able to defeat it" he said

We finally arrived in the city and there were noone in the street. I was now very worried. I looked over at Ignis, he wasnt giving anything away. He was thinking about what could be happening or what might happen. We parked the car and ran up the stairs into the castle. no one was around.

"Where is everyone?" i asked

"I dont know" he said

We decided to walk to the thrown room, the door was shut thats not normal. I turned the doorknob and what i saw inside made my heart skip a beat.

"Surprise" everyone shouted

"What is going on?" i asked

"Storm you have been working so hard so Ignis talked to the king and they both agreed you needed to have a party, plus its your birthday" said Noctis

I couldnt beleive i forgot it was my own birthday

"So you sent us out for rare gems so you could surprise me with a party?" I said

"Yes" they said

I put my weapon away and walked into the room.

"thank you so much everyone" i said

an hour or so into the party, we were all haveing a great time and enjoying each others company.

"Excuse me while i go speak with the king" said Ignis

"No problem" i said

I looked up to see him smiling with the king, they were both laughing. Ignis stood beside the king while the king stood up to make a speech.

"I have some news i want everyone to know, Ignis came up to me and asked me a question that would be difficult for anyone to ask. I was informed that someone was in love with another. the rule for being in the kings guard is that you cant date one another and this could get you both fired. but that was the old rules, it came about because two people have fallen in love and they were told to protect a king to be, but one got killed and the other failed to protect. but that was a very long time ago. Ignis has just told me he is in love with Storm. he explaned if they could be together that the king or prince comes first no matter how hard it would be. I grant Ignis and Storm to be together, i hope it goes very well for you." he said

Everyone cheered

Ignis came over to me and kissed me infront of everyone. I couldnt beleive he spoke to the king about it knowing we both could have lost our jobs and even gotten in huge trouble.

"I guess that means you can sleep in my room tonight" he said

"Can't wait" i said
