Stand by me

Finally Heading home

Gladeo and i had a very hard time hunting down the dog tags for the fallen hunters. We found one alright but now we have cuts and bruises all over our bodies from the creatures that just popped out of nowhere. 

"You need me to drive?" i asked

"No, its fine" he said

I refuiled the car bought some drinks and we began to head home. Ignis and i were texting back and forth, he was making me laugh. The ride home was long, and i was growing more and more impatient with it. I wanted to be home hanging out with Ignis and possibly sneak away for a makeout session that we both needed. i was craving his touch so bad. i have never been like this when i was younger but there is something about him that makes me act like an animal.

"Glad to be heading home?" asked Gladeo

"Yes and no, i love being home but i also love hunting" i said

"I couldnt agree with you more" he said

"Hey, when we get into the city mind if we stop at one shop before we get to the castle, there is something i need to get" i said

"Sure" he said

Once we arrive he dropped me off and waited by his favorite resturant.

I walked into the clothing store and checked out the place, i knew this was the one that had an outfit like the one i saw in my dream, the one with me and ignis. I took my time looking around until i found the perfect black corset that had silver snaps and ribbons. I also found some black pants that had slits in them and were tight but i could still move in them. i bought ignis a new pocket watch as well, i know he was going to like it and also a book that he could write his recipes in.

I found Gladeo and headed to the castle. Prompto and Ignis met us at the door. we carried in our bags and headed to our rooms before seeing the king. We dropped our stuff and headed to the thrown room.

"How did it go?" asked the king

"Daemon is no more" I said

"Good to hear, rest up Storm I am sending you out tomorrow on just a basic search with Ignis. this trip will be longer than the hunt" he said

"yes sir" I said

He dismissed us and we headed back to our rooms

 Prompto hung out with Gladeo while Ignis came with me. He closed my door and smiled at me.

I took off my jacket and his smile disapeard.

"What's wrong?" i asked

"You are hurt" he said

I looked down at my arm, it was now bleeding again

"Ill be fine for tomorrow" I said

"Sit" he said

He went into my bathroom and grabbed a cloth, a bowl of hot water, some soap, and a cloth to wrap around my arm. He came back in and grabbed the chair that was at my desk and began to take care of my cut.

Knock, knock

"Come in" I said

Gladeo and Prompto came in

"You ok?" asked Gladeo

"Yeah, I didn't even know I had it" I said

"Well we just had some stuff for your trip tomorrow and we wanted to give it to you know so you will have it packed and ready" Prompto said

"Thanks guys" I said

"thank you" Ignis said

They gave us a bunch of potions.

They finally left my room so it was just Ignis and I.

He was finally done with my arm and kissed it. I got off the bed and sat in his lap. my hand went to his face and I lightly touched him. I took off his glasses and set them off to the side. I couldn't get over how beautiful he was. I leaned in and kissed him. it was a slow kiss, he put his hand on my face and pulled me closer. I felt like I couldn't get close enough. My hands were on his chest and I did all that I could to not rip his shirt off.

"You are cold" he said

"yeah I am" I said giggling

"You were warm a second ago" he said

"My body is weird" I said

"Why don't you go have a hot bath, to warn you up" he said

"Join me" I said looking into his eyes

"I would love to, but" he began

"I know" I said

he gave me a quick kiss

"Ill see you in the morning then" I said

"Yes" he said

He began to leave

"Wait I have a gift for you, well two" I said

"a gift?" he said

I dug into the small bag and pulled out two wrapped boxes. He sat back down on the bed and I gave him the gifts. He opened the first one which was the book.

"I needed a new one thank you" he said

"I saw you were running low on empty pages" I responded

He opened the second one and saw the face of the watch, it had the insignia of Insomnia. he took it out of the box and opened it to find a picture of him and I smiling at the camera and at the bottom there was a note that said "How did I get so lucky".

"I absolutely love it, thank you" he said giving me a hug and a kiss

"I'm glad" I said

He left a few moments later. I got into the shower and headed to bed. I couldn't wait till I was alone with Ignis on the road where no one could stop us.
