Stand by me

Gladeo

I was walking around the castle doing my normal rounds when Gladeo showed up out of nowhere. He smiled at me and began walking with me. He didn't say a word for a bit and I didn't say anything, I had nothing to say.

"Congratulations" he said

"Thank you" I replied

"Ignis told me, he is so excited about the baby" he said

"I'm glad, he will make an amazing father" I said

"I have to ask but do you really love Ignis?" he asked

I stopped dead and looked at him, I couldn't believe he asked me that. before I knew what I was doing I slapped him across the face. Tears began falling down my face.

"How dare you ask me that, I love Ignis more than anyone else in the world, he has been there for me through everything, I have no idea how I am going to repay him, but that's not the point. if something were to happen to him I don't know what I would do" I said

I walked away

"Storm, I'm sorry" he called behind me

I almost stopped but I just kept walking. I saw Prompto and he waved to me until he saw I was angry. He looked at Gladeo following and turned away, probably to go find Ignis. I went into the training room and pulled out my sword and began attacking the dummies we had. I didn't slow down and I hit it as hard as I could. I was in a blind rage and anyone who came near me would be attacked I don't think I could stop. Gladeo was no longer calling my name and I knew he was just watching me I could feel the hairs on the back of my neck standing up. I stopped for a minute and began blaring song Karma by Kamelot. It was my way of calming down.

I was out of breath when I felt a hand on my shoulder, I quickly turned around and began trying to attack the person who touched me. It took a minute to realize who it was it was Ignis and Noctis. I stopped before I hurt them, I put my sword away and tried to relax. Noctis grabbed a chair and Ignis made me sit down.

"What happened?" he asked

"I got mad at Gladeo, he asked me a stupid question. I don't know why I got so mad" I said

"What he ask?" Noctis said

"If I really loved Ignis" I said

"That's all baby" Ignis said trying not to laugh

"Yeah" I said

He kissed my forehead

"Let's go apologize then you and I can go lie down" he said

"Ok" I said

Gladeo was still by the door.

"I'm sorry I slapped you" I said

"I'm sorry I asked you that question" he said

I gave Gladeo a hug, surprising him. he gave me one back and Ignis and I left the training room and headed to our room. Some rest was a good idea.
