The look on Sam's face wasn't very nice. All the color had drained from it and her breathing was irregular. She was scared and i knew exactly why. Next thing you know she's sprawled out on the floor unconscious.

" Oh my gosh." said Natalie as she knelt down beside Sam, Cat doing the same. Me? I just watched in amusement, well at first I was amused, but then I remembered.

How could she be missing since 2008 if she's been living with her mom the whole time? And when we read the description how Sam got kidnapped her face paled. I was scared now, everything that I thought was funny 2 seconds ago became anything but that.

It was scary to think that  people might think you've gone missing, but in reality you were there in plain sight the while time.

I went over to the desk and grabbed the water bottle that was placed on it and opened the cap. I then splashed all the water on same face., her body sitting up quickly as she choked.

" What the heck?!" Cat and Natalie screamed.

I shrugged innocently," What?" then threw the bottle at same head.

" Ow!" she whined rubbing the corner of her head that got hit by the bottle.

" are you okay?" cat asked.

" Yeah, I think so. . . . . . .what h-happened?" Sam asked. Natalie put her hands up in defense and left out the door, shutting it behind her.

" Oh yeah! Thanks for the help Natalie!" I sarcastically said.

" Umm. . . .do you not remember?" cat asked.

Her face paled and for a minute I thought she was going to faint again, but she didn't. She just burst into tears. I knew how she felt, well, kind of. I was upset for her, but I'm happy for her too. Why? Because someone is actually trying to find her and bring her home. But, wait. The question is who?

" Sam, I know this might not be the right time, but. . . . how exactly did you end up here?" I asked.

She looked up at me,  wiping her tears away. " Um. . . . . well my mom, she. . . got in a c-car a-accident." she hiccupped.

" hold on. If your mom got in a car accident and you went to the police station, who else would be looking for you?" I asked.

She thought for a second, and her eyes flashed with realization," What if. . . .what if my dad is trying to find me?"

" what?"

" My dad. At the age of 5, he left my mom and i. At least that's what I remember, but it still doesn't really make sense either. Because why would he be looking for me since 2008?" she said.

We thought in pure silence, the only thing being heard was the obnoxious tapping of cats fingers hitting her phone. I look up at cat impatiently. " can you not?" I ask, and she slips the phone under her leg.

I went back to thinking , then that's when it hit me. And that's when a chill ran up my spine. " Sam. . . . . .does. . . your mom, have a black van?"

" um. . .yeah, but she doesn't use it, why?" she asked. But a horrified expression soon crossed her face as she came to the realization. " N-no! S-she c-couldn't have!"

" What if it's true. What if she did do it." I argue, and walk over to her.

" What if. . . . .  what if she was one of the people who kidnapped you?"
