Okay so it's not two month and four month and then a year after the day they got together. It's 2 months after, then 4 months after that, then a year after that.

"I socialized," Mark muttered, slowly sipping his tea through a bright bendy straw.
"Are you going to continue to?" Jackson inquired.
"Nope. I'd rather eat Tidepods for the rest of my life."
"But they're practically poison."
"Are poison and exactly."
"But– "
"Exactly."
"But you're socializing right now by talking to me." Mark glared at Jackson.

"Mark! These are my other friends: Yugyeom and Jaebum," Jackson introduced, pointing to the two males as he said their names.
"Nice to meet you!" Mark greeted. "Any friend of Jackson is a friend of mine."
The room fell silent until something clicked in Jinyoung, "You won't last a minute."
"Pardon?"
"aBORT THYSELF OFF A CLIFF, YOU HEATHEN!" shrieked Jackson's friend, Youngjae, from the kitchen. A crash followed and then another person's laughter could be heard. Kunpimook dashed out into Jaebum's living room and hid behind Jinyoung and Yugyeom. Youngjae followed, livid. He and Kunpimook started going back and forth in shouts but the others tuned them out and Jinyoung turned to Mark. "Right, Yugyeom?" Youngjae said, trying to prove his unknown point. Said boy stiffened before a grin grew on his face and Jaebum groaned.
"When there's drama at school, I just walk awAaa-a-a-a-ay."
"Welcome to the group," Jinyoung said, grinning at a scared Mark.

"Happy Anniversary, mom and dad," Mark yelled, hugging his parents. He couldn't begin to explain how happy he was to speak in any language other than Korean to someone that wasn't a classmate, close friend or Jackson. Truthfully, he was just happy to be home and with his family.
Jackson stood off to the side, awkwardly holding a bouquet of bright flowers.
"And who is this?" Mark's father asked, moving towards Jackson. //Oh God, I think I'm gonna faint//, he thought, watching anxiously.
"A friend?" Mark's mom inquired. Mark shook his head, making a sound that meant "no". Jackson decided to butt in so that he wouldn't have to wait any longer for the unknown reactions.
"My name is Jackson Wang. I'm from Hong Kong and Mark says I talk about butterflies too much," he announced, puffing his chest a bit. Both of Mark's parents gasped (it terrified Jackson) and immediately pulled Jackson into a bone-crushing hug.
