Mark wasn't anti-social. He always liked having a reason to procrastinate and assured emotional support. But he just couldn't get used to the standards other students around him set just for others to be more than 'the quiet one', so it only took Orientation Day for him to become extremely tired of most of his school's students.
After the hellish week of criticism, Mark found the small coffee shop he was sat in now. His little escape – as cheesy as it sounded – that was only ten to twenty minutes away from campus. If it wasn't for the coffee shop, he probably wouldn't have met his – most recent – closest friends and acquaintances because of Namjoon and Seokjin's connections to practically everyone from Incheon to Busan.
"Can I sit here?" A stranger - Mark had seen frequently - asked. The blonde nodded absentmindedly, feeling a bit warm and fuzzy when the stranger shot him a small and polite grin before sitting down.

"Closing time!" Namjoon screamed, snickering to himself when Jin almost throws a rag across the room. Mark rolled his eyes at the couple, continuing to listen to Jackson's rambling of his love of cats, dogs, fields/meadows and Zico. His head rested on his fist as he continued drinking what remained of his raspberry tea.
"Then one day he just disappeared," Jackson lamented with a frown for emphasis. Mark mirrored the action.
"Did you ever see Mr. Snuggle-cookie-pizzaparty-balloon-pillow VI again – like – even just thought you saw him?" Jackson giggled at the question.
"I saw him yesterday. He was hopping around on my porch," he stated. Mark smiled, sighing in relief.
"So you found him after he disappeared?" the blonde asked. Jackson shook head, taking the last sip of his tea. He pushed the glass away from himself and folded his arms on the table, leaning forward idly.
"He just showed up out of the blue yesterday. Just appeared out of thin air kinda," Jackson explained, a childish smile on his face.
"CLOSING TIME!"
The pair jump in their seats at the loud voice, glaring at the eldest owner – who was leaning into the space between them with a wicked grin. Seokjin straightened and smiled down at the two other boys. "I'm sure you'd both love to continue talking up a storm here but, sadly, I'm tired and would like to get home to my child and bed," Seokjin paused, a wide smile spreading across his face. "So I'll kindly ask both of you to – get outta my coffee shop." The two boys stared at the obviously forced smile the latter wore. "OUT!" Seokjin bellowed, his voice echoing from the volume and the building's emptiness. Jackson and Mark quickly gathered their things and jogged out the door, yelling a goodbye to Namjoon.

"See you next Friday, Mark." Seokjin exclaimed, him and Namjoon waving goodbye to the pair "See you whenever, Jackson," the couple yelled as they walked to their car.

"It was nice talking to you, Jackson, and I hope we talk again," Mark admitted, smiling at the brunette. Jackson nodded and returned the kind gesture.
"See you next Friday," he chirped, walking in the opposite direction. Mark watched as the younger male walked away until he remembered something Jackson had mentioned.
"I thought your school was near to mine!" Mark shouted. Jackson halted and spun around.
"Whoops, where are my manners! I'm going to Burger King 'cause my roommate won't buy groceries and he knows this one cheap place," Jackson explained.
"The convenience store?"
"No it's a grocery store but the people are nice and they know my roommate so they talk to me as well."
"Can't you just go to the convenience store?" Jackson shrugged, grumbling something about making his roommate do something.
"Wanna come with me?" He asked. Mark shrugged, jogging to Jackson's side.
"We just met but I've been running off of Wendy's this week so change is good," Mark said as they walked down the busy streets.
