Chapter 8

Naya's POV

I woke up next to my beautiful girl Demi, she was still asleep and looked so adorable the way her hair was all over her face and how I could see her butt chin

I kissed her on the lips and once I moved back her eyes fluttered open

"Good morning beautiful," I said

"Best way to wake up," she said giggling

"Mmm," I said going for another kiss and this time it went for a bit longer

"What do you want to do today since it's my day off?" I asked

"First I want to ask you something," she said

She started playing with her fingers and I could sense she was getting nervous about something

"I didn't really ask you properly but will you be my girlfriend?"

I didn't even notice I was crying until Demi wiped the tears away

"Of course, of course a million times yes," I said

"I love you baby," she said kissing me lightly on my forehead

"I love you too,"

"Also I would like to meet Sky," she said a bit hesitant

"You already did," I said joking around with her

"You know what I mean," she said in a bit more of a serious tone

"Of course baby, we'll go past my place," I said

A big smile spread across her face and she jumped up and started getting ready

"GET UP!" she whined

"Five more minutes,"

"No I want to see my daughter," she said smiling

"Fine alright," I said getting up to get changed as well

We arrived at my place and walked into the lounge room to see Sky with my mother. Shit I hadn't even thought about what my mother would think or do..

"Sky come on princess were going out," I said and Sky jumped up and ran to give me a hug

"I missed you mommy," she said

"I missed you too," I said kissing her on her nose

She turned and looked behind me to see Demi and she ran to her and gave her a big hug as well. I know that Sky doesn't know about Demi being her mom but still seeing them together makes me extremely happy

"What's she doing here?" my mom questioned

"Mom not now," I sighed

She shook her head and started to walk into the kitchen when Demi called her

"What's wrong with me?" Demi questioned

"Your the one that made my daughter sick," she huffed

"Excuse me you have no right to say that your daughter and I are in love, love is love and you can't help who you fall in love with," she said getting angrier and angrier by the minute

"Baby calm down," I said holding her hand in mine

"Mommy what does she mean?" Sky asked

"Princes go into your bedroom I'll call you out when were leaving,"

She hesitated and looked between us but then left to her bedroom

"You know you split us up, your one of the reasons why Naya left, why she felt horrible for all those years, you made her miserable, made her feel like she was sick because of her orientation and you know what I'm not letting you get away with this, Naya deserves to be happy to feel loved and if it's with a girl who gives two shits, she's in love and it's not a fricken crime," I stated

Demi's POV

Her mother does not get to treat Naya like this anymore, I lost her once and I'm not losing her again

Her mother just stood there and said nothing

"I'm leaving," she said

I looked between Naya and her mom but I couldn't pick up what was going through their heads, in fact it just seemed awkward

"Good," Naya said breaking the silence

Her mother packed her stuff and after half an hour came out with a suitcase and two other bags

"You are a disgrace," she said to Naya

"No actually you are a disgrace, you raised me in a loving home and said you would always be there for me but when I needed you to support me you weren't there, when I was in love with someone you told me it was wrong and I was sick, you are a disgrace to me as a mother and I swear to god I will never ever make my child feel the way you made me feel, now get out of my house," Naya said she wasn't yelling or arguing she was just staying the truth of how she felt

"Are you ok baby?" I said hugging Naya

"To be honest never been better," she said smiling

I love her smile, it just brings joy to the room and makes everyone so happy

"I love you," I said kissing her

"I love you too so much,"

"Now let me go get Sky," Naya said

Sky.. my daughter I'm so excited and happy to be spending time with my daughter and a part of me is upset that I missed six years of her life but I know now that I'll be with her for the rest of her life
