Naya's POV
Demi was taking longer than I thought and I was getting worried.. She wouldn't answer my calls or text
Hmm? This isn't like her
I calmly went and sat next to Sky who was watching some kids show on tv and tried calling again. Same as before voicemail
Weird..
Demi's POV
"Your-your," I stuttered
"Who?" he asked
"Naya Rivera's dad," I managed to choke out
The look upon his face was clear shock and sadness
"Excuse me for one minute," he said as he walked out the back
I heard muffled voices but I wasn't sure what they were saying. Suddenly he walked back out with another man that looked around the same age as him and quite attractive may I say
"How do you know my daughter,"
"She's my fiancée," I said
"Your-," he stuttered
"I'm?"
"Your the girl she told us about,"
"Yeah the one you ran away from," I added getting pissed
"I can explain," he said as tears started welling up in his eyes
"Then start," I said
The guy next to him started rubbing his back in circular movements and gave him a comforting smile
"The reason I ran away was because I couldn't hide anymore, I couldn't pretend," he stopped for a minute and continued
"When Naya came out, I felt guilty because I had been living a lie and she was so strong about it but I had been so weak,"
"What do you mean?"
"I'm gay," he said
"Excuse me?" a voice said behind me.. a too familiar voice
I looked to see Naya there with Sky in her hand
"How much of that did you hear?"
"All of it," she said
I walked over to Sky and picked her up
"We'll leave you guys to catch up, were going home to eat," I said
Naya nodded her head obviously still in a state of shock
"I love you baby," I said leaning in for a kiss
"I love you more," she said
Naya's POV
My dads gay.. My dads gay.. What the hell?
I had mixed emotions running through my body and I was so confused, all those nights I spent crying cause he left me was all for the wrong reasons, he was gay
