Chapter 34

Demi's POV

I sang to Sky as she drifted off to sleep, I kissed her forehead and closed the door behind me knowing I won't see her for a few days. I know I shouldn't leave Sky here all alone but I need to get out before Naya comes and I know she comes back around this time so my princess will be safe. I picked up my carry bags and locked the door behind me as I got into my limo which would drive me all the way to Dallas.

How would Naya react? Is all I could think of..

Naya's POV

I ran to my house and I unlocked the door and everything seemed quiet.

"Hello," I called out

I looked in the lounge room, dining room and kitchen and I couldn't find Demi there. I continued to look around but she was no where

"Demi?"

I walked into our room and saw that some of her clothes were gone and the pillow I had got her was no longer on the bed. Where did she go?

I continued to pace around the room, deep in thought thinking where could she have gone? I exited the room and went and sat on the lounge when a pink piece of paper on the coffee table caught my eye. I picked it up and in Demi's fancy handwriting it said my name.

'To my beautiful wife,

By now I would've left but I'm not leaving for good, just leaving to give you the space you need. For the past week I've felt like I've done something wrong but I don't know what. My love whatever it is I'm so sorry and I will do anything to get your forgiveness. Please remember that I love you more than life and always will. No matter what nothing will ever change that.

I put the short but loving letter down and wiped the tears away from my face. Not one time did she mention where she was headed but somehow I knew that she had gone to her family.

I remember all those years ago whenever she was having a problem or something she would always go back home to Dallas, to her family.

I ran into Sky's room and lightly shook her. She moaned as she turned around to face me.

"Mommy I'm tired," she whined rubbing her eyes

"I know baby girl but we have to go find mama,"

"Mama told me she was leaving and she said that she loved you and she started crying," Sky explained

I could just have imagined Demi crying and Sky hugging her and saying 'I love you mama'..

"Ok Sky were going after mama so you can sleep in the car cause it's a long drive," I said

She yawned and I watched as her nose scrunched up as she did, that's exactly like Demi. She must get that from her.

I took some clothes, snacks, bottles of water and toys and I carried Sky to the car and buckled her into her car seat at the back I jumped in at the front and off we went to go get my woman back!

Demi's POV

"Hey everyone," I cheered as I was greeted with lots of hugs and kisses all round

"We've missed you so much," mom cooed

"It's been a week since I saw you mom," I giggled

"Demi," Maddy squealed hugging me tight

"I've missed you baby girl so much,"

"I've missed you too Dems,"

"Let me just go put my stuff in my room and then I'll be down," I smiled
