I was pulled away from my thoughts of all the different ways I could murder Sean without anyone knowing I did it by the bell signaling the end of school. Awesome now I could run and forget about every stupid thing that has happened today. I ran out to my car unlocked it and reached into the backseat to grab my gym bag.
"Wow didn't think your ass could get any hotter." I heard a voice say. I ducked back out of the backseat and spun around.
"And I didn't think you could get any cruder." I said looking at Daniel in annoyance.
"Oh I definitely could. But seriously you have a really nice ass. What the hell did you do over the summer? Cause it sure didn't look like that three months ago."
"Daniel." I said in warning. I was not in a good mood.
"Come on Rose. I'm just playing, what happened you used to have such a great sense of humor."
"It's still there Daniel. I'm just not in a good mood."
"So you've decided to take it out on me? An innocent bystander?"
"You innocent? Are you off your meds again Danny?"
"See there it is, there's that sense of humor I've always been fond of." I rolled my eyes at him and couldn't stop a smile from spreading across my face. Daniel was like that. No matter how vulgar, sex crazed and teenage boy-like he is he could always make you smile. "And there's the smile! You've always had a beautiful smile."
"Alright Daniel what is it that you wanted?" I said going back to grabbing my bag out of the backseat.
"Well if you keep bending over I'm not gonna be able to remember." He said and I could hear him smiling.
"Daniel get to the point I won't hesitate to hurt you." I said as I finally pulled the bag free from what ever it was stuck on and out of the car.
"Alright alright. I heard about your bet with Sean."
"Of course you did. What happened has he already lost?"
"No he's actually taking this very seriously. He rejected Haley when she offered to do him after fourth. It was weird she was waiting outside of the classroom when we walked out." He said with a shudder.
"Wow she quickly forgot about their fight."
"What?"
"Nothing. Should I be worried?"
"I don't know honestly it could go either way. You know Sean he could do it. It just depends on how long he stays determined."
"Yippee."
"Well good luck. Have fun at practice! I gotta go. Football waits for no man. See ya!"
"Bye Daniel." I said as he ran off waving to me over his shoulder.

"Rosemary Barns!?" Coach Willis bellowed over the 70 or so students standing around talking, trying to take roll.
"Here." I replied slightly raising my right arm to signal where I was in the crowd.
"Hey thanks for doing this with me." Amy said waiting for her name to be called.
"No problem. I like to run, plus it'll help with managing my stress."
"I'm sure it will. And practice ends same time as football so it's convenient for you and Clark."
"Yep except for the fact he's getting a ride from a friend. You know he's in high school now it's lame to get a ride from your sister."
"Yeah but you're the hot older sister! I bet his friends love you!"
