The Frozen Chapter Twelve

E L S A

Elsa was asleep and definitely trapped in somewhere dark. Where even the littlest light or sound wouldn't pass through. Just pure black darkness.

She knew that she was unconscious. Even if she willed herself to wake up, she can't. She was stuck in this void with no shred of hope to grab on.

While standing in the middle of the darkness, she closed her eyes. Every so often she can feel shivers running down her spine and the image of the boogeyman flashes in her mind. The boogeyman was called Pitch Black, and he was inside her sister's suitor. Like he was possessing the prince.

Elsa collapsed to the ground and clutched her heart. Ever since she came to this darkness, she only felt fear and pain. Once a while she felt terrible anxiety. Nothing of that sort compared to the burning pain she was receiving in her chest. A terrible heart pain.

The feeling of having a million needles prick her heart was excruciating. If she could describe the feeling, it would be having her needle-pricked heart thrown to a pit of bubbly acid. Not exactly a lovely sight.

She was used to the pain, at least she thought so. The one she was feeling this time around was exceptionally painful. She couldn't bear it.

Elsa slumped to the floor, temporarily escaping the wretched pain she felt. Then the flashbacks came.

-----E L I O R A----

"Mother?"

A young girl with blonde hair stepped into the chief's house, looking for her mother. Her father had recently left for the other village, claiming to be searching for himself. Her mother had been broken-hearted but the little girl was only confused.

Since then, her mother had been visiting the chief's house more frequently. The little girl didn't mind. She was happy that whenever her mother went out, she can play with the other village children.

She opened the door and found no one there. She proceeded to the bedroom and found the whole room in a mess. The bed was overturned, the shelves lying down and the curtains stained with blood. She gasped and ran away, her dress tattering up because of a loose nail on the door.

Running all the way from the chief's house which is in the middle of the village, to their house in the secluded part of the mountains was difficult but she managed anyways. What greeted her was the chief's body, his neck broken, his eyes blank.

"Eliora?" Her mother came out of the kitchen, blood dripping from her face.

"What happened to the chief, mother?"

Her mother kept a poker face. "Don't stress the details, Eliora. Help me hide his body in the mountains."

"What?" Little Eliora replied.

"We'll hide his body in under the snow. Nobody will ever find him."

Eliora and her mother then buried the chief's body under the snow. The next day, the chief's disappearance was the only thing the villagers talked about. Nonetheless, everyone forgot about it when another chief shushed the gossips.

But little Eliora still was confused inside. She wanted to speak up about the chief but her mother warned her that her life will be in danger if they did. So she shut up her thoughts.

One thing she discovered though, the snow is a powerful force and it can conceal anything and hide the truth.

In other words, powerful.

Elsa woke up and clutched her knees, crying. She wanted to wake up. What she had just seen was all too clear and vivid. She couldn't take anymore of that.

If waking up was the only way to end this nightmare, then she'd rather face the boogeyman than these vivid illusions of heart aches and another girl's life.

Hi People :)

I missed you!!!!

I'm terribly sorry for the absence! I'm having conflicting emotions right now. Nonetheless, I'm BACK!!

I wanted to share something, did you know that in my school, the fFrozen fever has corrupted at all! While working on our projects, my class played Frozen songs! Especially let it go!

Also Frozen is really popular here. Someone even made a tagalog version of let it go and do you want to build a snowman. The tagalog versions are hilarious. If you're a Filipino, you can relate! (Taong nyebe! XD)
