The Rise of Chapter Nineteen

J A C K.   F R O S T

Jack woke up because of the sound of a familiar bell. He sat up and saw elves, North's elves.

"What the?" Jack stood up and looked around for his staff. He found it lying beside his bed, being marveled about by those elves. "Shoo, shoo." Jack said.

He took it and smiled. When he looked back, he was tackled and pulled into a bear-crushing hug.

"Jack!" Tooth cried. Jack smiled and hugged her back. The fairies around Tooth started fainting one after another. One fairy approached Jack.

"Baby tooth!" Jack took Baby Tooth in his palm. "How have you been?"

Baby tooth smiled. She said some inaudible things but nonetheless, Jack smiled in relief. "I'm back in Earth!" He exclaimed. "But....I've got to talk about some things with North. Real fast."

Tooth nodded in understanding. She disappeared for a moment but came back quickly with bunny and North on her heels, and surprisingly, Elsa too.

Then atmosphere around the room turned solemn. "Elsa..." Jack mumbled. Jack couldn't meet Elsa's eyes because he remembered everything. He knew about what happened to Anna...yet Jack being all happy and everything.

"Jack, old friend!" North said, as jolly as he is to the bone. "Welcome home!" North picked up Jack and wrapped him in a hug.

"I've got loads- to tell you....North!" Jack managed to say. North let go and Jack panted for air. He heard giggling.

He looked at Elsa and smiled, trying hard not to look like it was forced. Jack gotta admit...Elsa looked nice in those modern clothes. Her hair wasn't in its usual braid and she didn't had any make-up on. It made her face look...young. Even more, it made her freckles more visible. All in all, her get-up is different but...attractive.

"Ahem," Jack said, hiding his blushing face. "I uh, need to tell you about something North. And also about Sandman."

With that one name, the atmosphere turned solemn and serious. With the corner of his eye, Jack saw Bunny hop away. Out of all these grim faces the room, Elsa was the only one not knowing anything hence the curiosity.

"Will it be okay if we talk? I mean, Now?"

North's eyes lingered at Elsa for a moment then he sighed. North nodded and started walking away. Jack followed, knowing that North will go to his workshop for the chat. When Jack reached Elsa, He gave her a comforting smile.

Then Jack walked faster, catching up with North.

"Interesting girl, Jack." North whispered while smiling. "Queen, huh?"

North opened the door and let Jack in. Jack entered and took in the smell of North's exotic workshop....and an elf's fart.

"Dingle!" North bellowed. The elf smiled impishly and left hastily. Jack backed away in recoil against the foul smell. "Sorry for that. Now Jack," North took a block of ice and started working on it. "Talk."

"I don't realy know where to start," Jack scratched the back of his head shyly. "I'll try."

Jack took a deep breath and started narrating from the start. (A/N: People, think of this as a summary so far, cause I'm really needing the feeling to feel the thrill!)

"I found Pitch's lair in that mountain. I wanted to wait for you other guardians so I kept watch. While waiting, Pitch attacked me so I fought back. While we fought, Pitch and I unknowingly made a portal from my ice and his sand. Because of a blast, I was unconscious. Pitch threw my body into the portal which resulted to me arriving in Arendelle."
