"I swear that was the most boring class in the history of boring classes," I groan.

"Stop complaining woman," Elijah chuckles rolling his eyes.

We have just come out of Math class where we were learning algebra. I mean, math is hard enough without involving the alphabet.

"What are you doing on Saturday?" Elijah asks, turning his face towards me.

  "Probably hibernating, why?"

  "There's this party-"

"No." I cut him off immediately.

"Come on, you didn't even let me -" he whines but was cut off by me once again.

  "No."

  "Lilly, stop butting i-"

  "No."

  Elijah grunts in frustration.

"There's this party I really want to go to but no one will go with me and I dont want to go alone," Elijah says quickly.

"Elijah I said no. Wanna hear it in Spanish? No."

"Lilly this isn't fair. Come on please," he pouts. "I'll buy you food? Any food you want."

  "Fine," I sigh.

"Yes! So-" He starts but was cut off when some random dude rudely bumps into him.

"Watch where you're going," the guy growls.

"Who do you think you're talking to?" I snap. No way is he going to talk to my best friend like that and get away with it.

"Lilly leave it," Elijah mutters, grabbing my hand to pull me away.

"Excuse me?" The guy stops and turns around to face me. Damn.

His brown eyes narrow into slits as he sizes me up, his blondish hair hanging over his forehead slightly.

"I said who do you think you're talking to?" I repeat slowly, as if he was a child.

"Well I'm not talking to the wall am I?" He sasses back. Who does this ass think he is?

I step closer to him only to be followed be Elijah.

"Listen, mate," I sneer looking up. Damn he's tall. "If you got your head out of your ass-"

"Listen, princess," the adondis sasses back. "If you would have told you boyfriend to move out of the way then I wouldn't have bumped into him would I?"

"Don't you dare talk to her like that," Elijah growls, trying to step around me but I block him for doing so knowing he'll probably beat his ass.

"Oh and so it speaks," the jerk raises an eyebrow tauntingly.

"First of all, he's not my boyfriend." I narrow my eyes, pointing a finger into his chest. His eyes lace with amusement at this. "Second of all, you need to watch that tone of yours before-"

"Before what?" He muses, the corner of his lip turning up into a smirk.

"Before I beat your ass," Elijah says through clenched teeth. Told you.

The jerk starts to chuckle and shake his head. "What ever you say, champ."

I lift my hand and attempt to hit him. Hard. But he grabs it when I was about an inch away and pulls me to his chest.
