 Important A/N at the end.

A knock on the door is what disturbed Elijah and I from our movie marathon. Ugh. Just when the film was getting good.

"You get it." Elijah mumbled, his mouth full of popcorn and his eyes never leaving the television.

"It's your house! I'm not getting it, you get it!" I complained, snuggling back into the blanket.

He groaned as his limbs protested against him walking to the door. His arms swung by his side, childishly until they preoccupied themselves by reaching out for the handle.

The door slammed shut immediately after Elijah opened it which pricked my curiosity. I get up with the blanket around me and waddled towards the door.

"Who is it?" I asked poking my head around to look outside the window.

Elijah turned around and chuckled at me, "you look like a burrito."

I raised an eyebrow, "don't change the subject. Who-"

My voice was interrupted by a flurry of knocks at the door again.

"Oh piss off would you!" Elijah shouted.

Getting annoyed at his deflection of my questions I asked once more but in a harsher tone. "Who is it."

"No one you should be concerned about."

I reached out for the handle when Elijah grabbed my wrist, giving me a daring look. Oh please. He thought that would scare me? Ha.

With my other hand I reached around him and opened the door to be faced with Hunter.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I snapped at him. How did he even get Elijah's address?

  "I want to apolo-"

"I'm going to stop you there," Elijah holds his hand up, cutting Hunter's words off. "Please don't tell me, after everything you've done, that you think Lilliana is going to forgive you?"

"I can at least try." Hunter glares at Elijah and then focus' his gaze towards me. "Lils."

  "Don't wanna hear it."

"Please. Just two minutes of your time." He begged.

"You've already wasted enough of her time."

"She can speak for herself," Hunter spits out at Elijah. From the corner of my eye, I noticed Elijah clenched his jaw and fists.

"Please just leave." I said as calmly as I could manage.

  "No."

"Don't make me force you to leave, champ," Elijah says sarcastically, referring to Hunter's choice of words towards those he doesn't like.

Hunter stepped forward, challenging Elijah. Before my best friend could beat Hunter to a pulp I grabbed his arm and pulled him back into the house, closing the door on Hunter's face.

"That prick! Who does he think he is, turning up to my house acting like he ownd the place!" Elijah pulled at his hair.

I locked the door before walking back into the living room where he was sat and jumped onto the settee next to him.

"Breathe," I joked which only earnt me a glare. I'd never seen him that mad before.

"You do know he'll keep trying to apologise to you." Elijah sighed.

"Maybe one day I'll forgive him, but right now... There's not a chance in hell that I will. Why are you so mad anyways?"

"Why am I?- why am I so mad?" He laughed. "Lilly you don't deserve to be treat like that. He stamped all over you as if you were a door mat then chucked you into the skip. You don't deserve it."

I smiled lightly at him before turning my attention back to the film. I have a feeling things will get a lot better from now on.

*2 years later*

Yep. You heard right. It's been two years and honestly, things couldn't get much better than it is right now. I finally finished school and got a decent job working as a secretary.

"Lilly can you come here please?!" I hear a familiar male voice yell.

  "One minute!"

I rush downstairs, excited to see him. He's been working away a lot recently and honestly, I've missed him so much.

  "Hey," he smiles.

"Hi," I breathe out. Dang. I really do need to start exercising.

He pulls me in by my hips and gives me a passionate kiss, to which I immediately return.

"Miss me?" Elijah laughs. What about Hunter I hear you ask? Well. When I went back to school he was too busy occupied with all his other girls and acted as if he never knew me. To say that didn't hurt would be a total lie. However, he's apologised and we still keep in touch.

"Not really, it's been much better without you here to be honest." I lie.

He raises an eyebrow at my forwardness and replies, "yeah well I didn't even realise you'd gone."

He squeezes my hips lightly and winks, notifying me that he was lying. I shake my head, chuckling slightly and stand on my tip toes for another kiss.

Elijah pulls his head back and stands on his tip toes, getting as far away from me as possible.

I wrap my arms around his neck and try to reach him but I have no hope. He's too tall. Goddamn you Elijah.

I sigh dramatically and turn around. I squeal in surprise when his hands suddenly spin me around and his lips meet mine.

The kiss reminds me of everything we've been through together. He helped me conquer my depression, helped me to stop cutting. To say I'm proud of myself with how far I've come is an understatement.

I went from pratically no one, non money, no nothing. To owning my own apartment with my boyfriend and getting a good job.

There were a few complications with my real parents but everything eventually sorted itself out.

I snap out of my daze when Elijah's lips trail down my jae to my neck. He picks me up, wrapping my legs around him and laughs against my skin.

"I've missed you so much." He says hoarsely.

  "I've missed you too."

A/N
Hi guys! I'm back with another update! I'm so sorry that this was short and the ending is weak.

I had to end it as I have a shit load of exams coming up and won't have time to write two stories at once ( the other being my new book coming out which will be wayyyy better than this one).

I'm sorry if I've disappointed you at all with this ending, I promise I'll edit it when exams are over or I'll rewrite it fully so it can live up to it's potential.

I just want to thank you all so much for giving this book a chance. I know its not great but 2.09k votes? That's insane! I apprecaite you all so much!

  Thank you for understanding.

AJ
