We eventually arrived at our final destination.
The Saito Manor.
"Is this the place?" Delilah asked as she curiously admired the rusty building.
"It is." I replied, tightening my grip on her hand.
"Are we going to go in?" She questioned.
"They'll come to us." I responded, familiar with this routine. After all, this is my old home.
A few seconds later, a gush of wind hit us, which startled Delilah.
In front of me stood... Lilith.
"Well well well, if it isn't Slade." Lilith spoke soothingly, with a glint in her vibrant, violet eyes.
"In the flesh." I coldly responded.
"Who's the girl?" Lilith questioned as she took a step forward.
I grabbed Delilah by her waist and pulled her closer to me, then furrowed my eyebrows angrily.
"She's mine." I scowled, revealing my sharp fangs.
Delilah blushed as she awkwardly clung on to my black shirt."No need to get all territorial. Her blood is just mouth-watering." Lilith chuckled as she noticed the instant change in my behavior.
"You touch her and I'll kill you." I responded coldly, letting her know that I'm very serious.
"Whatever Slade." Lilith scoffed as she rolled her eyes.
"Why are you here anyway? After all these years..." Lilith continued, this time folding her arms.
"I need to speak to Leondro." I responded."Of course! Leandro will be pleased to see you." Lilith guffawed as I kept my straight face.
"Shall we?" Lilith asked as she curtseyed, showing fake respect.
"Just take us inside." I scoffed.
I felt Delilah grip my shirt a little tighter.
Lilith giggled a bit just before raising her arm in the air.
A dark purple light emerged and pulled all of us through. I made sure to hold onto Delilah, since she most likely isn't used to teleporting.
The light dulled as we all instantly appeared inside of the Saito Manor.
The walls were red and slightly dusty. The furniture was black with small, dark red blood stains on them. The place looks exactly the same as it did five years ago. Being here only makes my vivid memories clearer... It's pissing me off. I need to get out of here as soon as possible.
"Go get him, Lilith." I commanded.
"I don't take orders from you anymore, Slade." Lilith responded apathetically.
"But since you asked oh so nicely..." Lilith continued, this time with sarcasm in her voice.
I rolled my eyes as she teleported away.I turned to Delilah, who was clinging to my side. She looked uncomfortable.
"Are you okay?" I asked her."I'm fine... You weren't kidding about their thirst for blood." Delilah said as she brushed herself off.
"They seriously will drain you dry." I agreed.
"Good thing that I have you here to protect me." Delilah thought as she began to blush brightly.
"Why are you looking at me like that?" I questioned, noticing her flirty stares.
"Oh, no reason." Delilah chuckled.
She's so weird.
I rolled my eyes out of annoyance.
My eyebrows began to furrow as I felt a familiar presence.
I quickly grabbed Delilah once more, preparing for him to make his appearance.
Leondro stood in front of us. His long jet black hair was tied up into a man bun. His dark, violet eyes glinted as he closely examined me with a smirk on his chiseled face.
"The fuck are you looking at?" I scoffed, noticing his irritating stares.
"I never thought I'd see the day." He exclaimed, his voice was deep but smooth.
"Cut the shit." I spat out, clearly not in the mood for his annoying remarks.
"You haven't changed one bit, little brother." Leondro smirked.
Delilah's jaw dropped slightly as she analyzed Leondro then analyzed me, as if she was noticing our resemblance.
"Who's the girl?" Leondro questioned.
"Don't even think about it." I growled, flashing my sharp fangs.
"You've got a tasty one, I see." Leondro continued as his tongue slid across his lips, revealing his fangs as well.
"Leondro, I swear I'll-" I threatened, but he interrupted my sentence.
"Relax. I won't kill her." Leondro chuckled in amusement.
"What is it that you want? I'm sure that you're not here for a friendly reunion." Leondro said as he raised his thick eyebrow."You're damn right." I scoffed.
"I need my Excalibur." I said demandingly. The Excalibur is a sword capable of great power. It is rightfully mine, however my brother Leondro possesses it. I'm here to take back what's mine no matter the cost.
"Huh? You want the Excalibur?" Leondro asked sarcastically just before laughing hysterically.
"I don't see the joke." I coldly responded, unsure why he thought this was funny.
"You disowned the Saito name, yet you want a sword that belongs to the Saito family. Why should I give you such a strong weapon?" Leondro asked while glaring at me.
"Because it's rightfully mine and you know it." I retorted.
Leondro began to think, as if he was debating whether to give me my damn sword or not.
Either way, it wasn't his choice. I'm going to leave this place with my sword regardless of what I have to do to get it.
"Why don't we make a deal?" Leondro suggested.
"I'm listening..." I responded.
"We'll duel in the arena. If you beat me, I'll give you the Excalibur." Leondro said with a grin on his face."And if you win..?" I questioned his motive.
"However if I beat you, I get to keep your precious girl." Leondro smirked.
Delilah's eyes widened in shock as she heard his request.
"Hell no." I retorted.
Delilah sighed in relief due to my response.
"Oh? Are you afraid? Ahaha. What happened to my confident little brother?" Leondro teased as he grinned.
Who the hell is he talking to? Does he truly believe that I'm afraid of him? I can't stand this bastard, he always tries to belittle me.
I'm not going to take his shit anymore.
"You've got yourself a fucking deal, asshole." I growled angrily.
"Excellent." Leondro guffawed.
I felt Delilah's heartbeat stop for a quick second as she let go of my hand instantly.
