Delilah and I walked through the creepy streets of Crawdor. We stopped and hid around the corner of a deteriorating building as we heard some distinct voices.
"We need to worry about our people for now." A feminine voice spoke.
"Their disappearances." A deep husky voice continued.
"Do you think the lack of food could've caused this?" The female questioned.
"But if they died from starvation, we would've found their bodies. Eleven of our kind vanished without a trace so far." The deep voice answered.
"I'm worried, Valdor." The woman uttered.
"Don't worry Celina. I won't let anything happen to you, my love." Valdor reassured her.
"Even so, I have a terrible feeling about this." Celina admitted while she sighed.
"As you should." I spoke as I walked towards the two werewolves, Delilah still clinging onto my muscular arm.
"A vampire?!" Valdor growled in defense.
"If I had bad intentions, I would've already killed you both ten minutes ago." I fiercely retorted, revealing my sharp fangs.
"So what the hell are you doing in my territory?!" Valdor snarled.
"I suggest that you shut the fuck up." I retaliated with attitude in my tone of voice.
"What he's trying to say is that he knows some valuable intel." Delilah awkwardly spoke up.
I sucked my teeth and rolled my eyes out of annoyance.
"Let's hear what he has to say, Valdor." Celina suggested.
Valdor sighed then faced me with a scornful look on his face.
"What do you know? Valdor scoffed, raising one of his thick eyebrows.
"Your people are being murdered." I informed.
I heard Delilah take a deep breath as Celina's jaw dropped, clearly taken aback by what I said.
"Oh no... H-how do you know this?" Valdor stuttered, his eyes widening from shock.
"If you want more intel, you have to give me something in return." I coldly spat as I slicked a strand of my dark silky hair that fell onto my forehead back into its previous position.
"Of course there's a catch." Celina sighed.
"Alright, we'll discuss business at my den." Valdor agreed, giving me a harsh stare.
Celina turned to face Valdor and they made extreme eye contact.
Oh, so they made a blood pact. I wonder if they're talking shit about me.
Celina: Do we really want to invite this aggressive man into our den?
Valdor: Celina, it's alright. He knows something and we just have to take this risk... for the sake of our people.
Celina: Okay, I trust you.
Celina brushed herself off as Valdor shifted his weight to his left leg.
