"You've got yourself a fucking deal, asshole." I growled angrily.

"Excellent." Leondro guffawed.

I felt Delilah's heartbeat stop for a quick second as she let go of my hand instantly.

"Lucine will show you two to your rooms." Leondro gestured.

I could feel Delilah's ocean blue eyes piercing into the side of my head. She was giving me a death stare.

"Rooms?" I questioned Leondro, completely ignoring the tension between Delilah and I.

"We will duel tomorrow, you two can stay here for the night." Leondro explained.

I sighed, I wasn't looking forward to staying in this dreaded place.

I guess it can't be helped...
But, Delilah is staying with me at all times. I don't trust these bastards around Delilah when she's alone.

"We only need one room." I said as I tried to take hold of Delilah's hand once more.

Our fingertips touched and she instantly jerked her hand away from mine, then took a step back.

What the fuck is her problem?

I know I told her to stay close to me. This place is fucking dangerous. Gosh, what a pain in the ass!

"Okay. You two must be hungry." Leondro observed as he folded his arms across his broad chest.

Delilah began to rub her forearm up and down as her stomach growled slightly.

"I could use a vial or two..." I awkwardly admitted.

I turned to my right to face Delilah who backed herself away from me.

"Are you hungry?" I questioned as I observed her behavior.

"I am." Delilah responded coldly as she glared into my glinting, violet eyes.

"Luckily we do have actual food here. Right this way." Leondro bowed before he walked down the dark corridor.

"Let's go." I ordered Delilah.

"Don't talk to me." Delilah spat with an attitude in her tone.

She brushed passed me and continued down the corridor. I watched as her silky hair bounced from left to right as she walked firmly. Delilah's fists were clenched and I can sense that she was irritated.

What the hell is her damn problem?!

"Tch.." I sucked my teeth as I ran through the dark halls, catching up to Delilah and the asshole, Leondro.

We went into the large dining room. The walls were blood red, with a few paintings hanging from the thin nails jammed into the walls. The black dining table was covered with a thick, red table cloth. The place was kept neat...

Leondro welcomed us into the Saito Dining Room. I scoffed as he spoke of it so highly.

"Would you like Lucine or Lilith to serve you?" Leondro asked as he shifted his weight to his other leg.
