Once we reached my room, our stomachs full. We began to discuss major details about the trip. "So, what time do you think we should leave Friday?" I spoke up. "Maybe we should just skip school and leave early in the day, or we could meet up at lunch at school then leave." Olive announced, which I have to admit wasn't such a bad idea. "That's not a very bad idea, and since I'm the only one with a car I could pick everyone up and drive them to school, and we could take my car for the trip." Alec told us. "Yeah and we could throw our things in your car in the morning." I said. I could see the wheels turning in everyone's head. Alec had a look of doubt, that was clouded by hope in his eyes. I really hope he wasn't beginning to doubt this idea because I have to admit without him it would be boring. Honestly Alec was one of the only people who ever made me genuinely happy,  if I had to admit it.

"Okay so we have concluded that we leave at lunch on Friday and that we are taking Alec's car." I concluded. "Yeah, but what are we going to do about money and stuff?" Rebecca asked. "I have a credit card with money on it that my parents left for me when they died." I told them, no one knew I had it not even my aunt. I liked to keep things to myself. "That will work and we can use it to buy snacks and to pay for gas. And we all have jobs so that can be used to pay for hotel rooms." Olive announced. "Which leads us to our next question, how many hotel rooms are we getting? We could get one that has two beds but it would be awkward because Alec is a guy." Rebecca spoke. "I could sleep on the floor and one of you guys could have a bed to yourself. Then it would be cheaper too." Alec volunteered. "Yeah, but I don't think that wouldn't be very fair." I told him. "I'll be fine Sky, you don't need to worry about it. I have slept on the floor many times. I mean I'm sleeping on the floor tonight." He shrugged off my concern. "But we are going to be gone for almost a week. But whatever you want." I sarcastically said. "What time is it?" I continued. Alec looked at me "It's 10:30. Why?" "It was wondering because I need to wake my aunt up around 11 so she can get ready for work. Which means that you will have to hide in the closet or something for a while, Alec." I said looking at his amused expression. "Okay, okay. Calm down." He joked, poking me in my ribs.

"We could stop at a gas station and grab a few snacks. Until we get to the first hotel we are going to stay at." Olive concluded. " Yeah, Alec it's 10:55 you need to find somewhere to hide." I said with a smirk on my face. "But I don't want to, it's not like we are doing anything wrong anyway." He complained. "Yeah but you see you are a guy, we are girls." Rebecca and I said at the same time, this was why we were best friends. "Or you know we could tell her you're gay if you would prefer that." I joked glaring at Alec as I stood up and opened my door, stopping when he began to speak. "I would prefer if you did not do that, because I don't want her asking if I have a boyfriend everytime I come over here to hang out with you guys." He said, sounding a little irratated at my comment. "Okay then hide, because I am going to wake her up right now and if I get in trouble for you being here I'm going to kill you." I said. "Alright I will, don't worry about it." He said looking up at me while I was walking away towards my aunt's room.

I silently crept down the hallway towards my aunt's room. I barely saw my aunt anymore because she was always at work or asleep by the time I got home from school. The only time I actually saw her was on the weekends. I slowly opened her door and walked over to her bed. I kneeled beside her bed and shook her arm causing her to jolt awake. "Oh, Sky." She spoke sleepily. "It's time to wake up, you have to get ready for work." I told her. "Okay, I will be ready in a few minutes and then I will walk over to your room and see how you girls are doing and if you need anything." "Okay see you in 10."

I walked back over to my room, eager to find out where Becca and Olive shoved Alec. "Where is he?" I asked.  Olive and Becca silently pointed towards the closet where I had originally told him to hide. "And he put up such a fight about even having to hide. Anyway my aunt is going to check on us in about 10 minutes, so act normal." I said while quickly running over to the nightstand by my bed and grabbed Uno, while quickly giving everyone seven cards. "What are you doing?!?" Olive asked giving me with a look of pure curiosity on her face. "We have to act normal, so why not play a game of Uno." I said to them. "Hey wait for me before you play, because I want to play too." Alec said from the closet. "Shut up idiot before my aunt finds out that you are here." I shouted back at him. We played a couple games of Uno before my aunt finally walked into my room. "Do you girls need anything before I leave?" My aunt spoke her voice hoarse from exaustion. "No we're fine, see you tomorrow afternoon." I spoke up. "Okay well I will see you tomorrow." She said waving goodbye. As soon as she shut the door my phone went off, it was Alec.
Alec: Can I come out of your closet yet? It's really crowded in here.
Me: No wait until we see her pull away.
Alec: Fine, I've been in here for like twenty minutes how long will this take.
Me: Shut up idiot you can come out now.

At that the closet door busted open and Alec yelled "Finally fresh air." "Omg, Alec shut up it wasn't that bad." I said sarcastically. "I feel like I've been in a box for years." He said staring at me. "Whatever weirdo." I looked directly into his eyes. "Oh, I see how it is psycho. You don't even care about me anymore." Alec replied sarcastically, with a smug smirk on his face. Then he turned and bolted out of my room, down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Alec, what are you doing?" We shouted while running after him at the same time. When we got to the kitchen he looked at me with a strange look in his eyes it was one I hadn't seen before. "Your aunts got a major alcohol collection." He said with a smirk.
