He inched his way towards me like a predator, his eyes twinkling with mischief.

I was simply not amused when he did that.

I just wanted to know why he wanted to trap me here.

"What the hell do you want from me?" I demanded, holding back tears as I thought of how shrewd he had become when he sent that woman to Chase's side.

And she stayed for five god damn years.

His fingers gently caressed my face as his lips twitched into a sick smile. "I just want you to be my side, baby. Is that so hard to ask for?"

I looked away, tears rolling down my cheeks. "Even if you trap me here for an eternity, I will never love you."

His fingers wrapped itself around my neck, tight enough to choke me. But he was withholding himself from killing me.

I gasped, clawing at his hand as I tried to breathe. "Bullshit, you're mine. I will have your heart one day, Gemini."

With that said, he released his grip from my neck and left the room without a word. Keys dug into the keyhole, signifying that the door was locked.

I was officially trapped in this room.

I held onto my sore neck in despair, feeling hopeless all of a sudden.

Laying back against the headboard, I let the hot tears slide down my cheeks in silence.

Five years... What have these five years turned him into?

What have I done?

Cooling sensation touched my skin as I gasped, my eyes flying open.

The first thing I saw was Roderick as he hovered above me.

I pushed him away, moving backwards desperately as I made sure that there was a distance between us.

"What the hell do you want again, Roderick?" I demanded through clenched teeth.

He raised his hands up, sending me a weak smile. "I mean no harm, Gemini. I swear to god that I'm sorry for what I have done earlier."

"You better be." I muttered under my breath, still putting up my guard in case he was trying to play funny games with me.

He ignored what I have said and dabbed his fingers on a small container which gave off a herbal fragrance.

"What is that?" I raised a brow, still staring at him cautiously.

He smiled genuinely for the first time ever since I was captured here. "Cream." He simply responded.

He was about to apply it on my neck when I swatted his hand away. "There's no need for that, I will do it myself."

I snatched it away from him and applied the cream on my neck instead.

I winced when it hurt.

"Does it hurt?" He asked, making me internally groan.

Why don't you try it for yourself and see if it hurts?

I badly wanted to say that right across his face, but was compelled to do so for fear of angering him.

Things will definitely go wrong if I let my mouth spew out unnecessary words. For now, I just have to control myself and not provoke him.

Silence engulfed the whole room as I ignored his presence. "Why aren't you responding?" He asked, gently caressing my face while I flinched in response.

I looked away instantly, not in a mood to deal with my bipolar kidnapper.

"I'm hungry." I said out loud the first thing that came to my mind.

I have been trapped in this hell hole for hours and I am already starving.

"You're hungry? What do you want to eat? I will get the chef to cook something for you."

I stared at him, speechless. One moment he can be shrewd and evil. The next, he can be sweet and cheesy.

I could literally feel goosebumps already.

His hand waved in front of me as it snapped me out of my train of thoughts.

"Are you listening, Gemini?"

"What? Anything." I muttered under my breath, not really bothering about what he said.

With that said, he hurriedly got up and walked out of the room, leaving the door locked once more.

I sighed, letting my shoulders sag in relief.

I still have Leo waiting for me. What do I have to do in order to get out of here safely?
