Hadrat Fatima (Radi Allahu anha) gave birth to two sons - Hadrat Imam Hassan (Radi Allahu anho) and Hadrat Imam Husain (Radi Allahu anho) and two daughters, Hadrat Sayyidah Umm-e-Kulthoom and Sayyidah Zainab (Radi Allahu anha).
Some Historians have added the names of Imam Mohsin and Sayyidah Ruqayya as the progeny of Hadrat Fatima (Radi Allahu anha) while others have omitted them.
Those who have included their names do also agree that they had died in their prime age.
Therefore, there is not much about them in History.
It is also one of the excellences of Hadrat Fatima (Radi Allahu anha) that her progeny resumed the line of descendence of the Blessed Prophet (Sallall Allahu Ta'ala Alaihi Wasallam) and it will remain up to the last Day. The Beloved Prophet (Sallall Allahu Ta'ala Alaihi Wasallam) said:
''All the offspring of Adam (Alaihis Sallam) is attributed to their paternal relatives except the progeny of Fatima, that I am their Father and their paternal link.''
