"You guys were so good" I complimented Mureen and Simon who preformed brilliantly. They just finished their gig and we were outside of Pandemonium at the back of Simon's van where he was changing his shirt.
I already caught up with Jocelyn and Luke and got changed into a black long sleeved dress with high knee boots before coming here and so far its been fun. I just really hope that Clary is having a good time, it is her birthday afterall.
"Spray paint!" Simon exclaimed and handed everyone a can that Clary got for her birthday from Luke. Of course she was going to be doing most of the work since she's the artist and decorating a van can't afford many mistakes but we all tried to contribute as much as we could. All I was doing was spraying the letters in blue as Clary outlined them but it was fun none the less and once we were done we stood back to admire our work.
"What's that tag?" Mureen asked Clary referring to the rune on the van.
"Weird, I didn't even realise I drew that. Second time today" She shrugs but I know that it was no accident. I can tell that she's going to find out sooner or later but for her sake I hope it's later.
As the three of them were conversing I took the time to look around and admire the beautifully lit club but that's when something or rather someone caught my attention. Three people dressed in black leather striding towards the club, one of them having a bow and a quiver hung over his shoulder, the other being a girl and judging by the runes all over their bodies they were shadowhunters.
As if they couldn't make it worse for themeselves the blonde guy bumped into Clary making her stumble.
"Hey watch where you're going" She says to him while Simon and Mureen give her strange looks since they can't see him.
"You can see me?" Me looks at her shocked while I'm standing beside her.
"Yeah that's the point but obviously you didn't see me" she looks him up and down.
"Look Clary lets just go he doesn't deserve your time" I look up at him and lightly pull Clary's arm away from him. Mostly because he's a shadowhunter and she's not supposed to know about them but also because I also because I get the impression that he's a dick.
"You have the sight. How have I not seen you two before" He wonders.
"Has that line ever worked for you? Even once" Clary snorts and he's about to say something when someone else calls his name. I look towards the source and see the tall man with a bow over his shoulder.
Jace then gives us one last look before jogging off towards his friends while me and Clary walk back to Simon and Mureen.
"Can you guys believe that dude" Clary shakes her head.
"You mean the imaginary dude you two were talking to?" Simon voices.
"No that blonde guy running inside the club" Clary points at him still jogging towards his friends but Simon and Mureen just stare at her blankly.
"Do you guys seriously not see him?" They both shake their heads. "Will you guys stop making me feel so insane?"
"Will you stop acting like it?" Mureen retorts.
"Well Sky saw him" She tells them if taking off her hoodie in the process.
"Where are you going?" Mureen asks.
"To get some answers" she replies.
"I'm coming with you" I tell her since I can't let her go by herself. This is shadowhunter business after all.
"Remember Clary your fake ID sucks" Simon shouts after us but then him and Mureen still follow us into the club.
"I'm gonna go and fail at getting us some birthday drinks" Simon announces.
"I'm gonna go fail with you" Mureen and him disappear while me and Clary look for the blonde guy.
"Over there" Clary grabs my attention by pointing over at the curtain he just walked through.
We start walking towards it and I really don't know what to expect but I bet it's not gonna be pretty.
As we walk through the blonde guy has a saraph blade pointed at a girl I front of him and he's just about to strike when Clary pushes her out of the way.
"Watch out" She shouts.
"Oh god" I mumble. The girls face contacts and tentacles come out making it clear that it's a demon while Clary shrieks at the monster in front of her.
I run my stele over the rune on my shoulder making my bow and quiver appear and as the demon attacks Clary I quickly take out an arrow firing it at the demon. It vanishes into species of dust and Clary looks at me astonished.
So this is Chapter 2. I've already got part 2 written but i might upload it tomorrow instead. Depends on how i feel about it lol.
