"Are you sure we're meeting them here?" Izzy asks Alec for about the billionth time as we stand outside the precinct.
He sighs "Of course"
"Well did Jace even say why we're here?" Izzy asks.
"Something about a backup" I reply waving it off since I'm not very bothered about it.
"Finally" Izzy sighs as we see them both walking out of the building.
"Did you get the cup" Alec is first to ask.
"We did" Clary replies and we all sigh in content "But then we lost it" She continues disappointing us all.
"We know where it is though" Jace puts in "We just have to sneak back in to get it"
"Then what are we doing out here" I ask hoping this is the part where we come in.
"Everyone working with Valentine would see right through our glamour so we need to shut the lights off" Clary momentarily looks back at the precinct.
"So you want us the cut the power?" Izzy asks and they both nod their heads.
"Should be easy enough, you two go back in and wait for the signal" I start walking towards the side entrance of the precinct, Izzy and Alec following me.
"Do you have a plan?" Alec wonders.
"Not yet" I admit "But I will have one in a few minutes"
"Oh no" Izzy freezes as we walk in looking at the woman at the front desk guarding the 'only staff' access.
I follow her line of vision and grimace, our unspoken plan just went straight out of the window but then we share a look and a knowing smirk before looking at Alec crossing our hands in front of our chests.
"What?" He asks and I tilt my head towards the woman.
"No way" He refuses "I'm not good at this sort of stuff"
"Alec you have to do this" Izzy argues.
"Exactly. You're an attractive mean, she'll be falling at your feet" I try to prove a point but judging by his reaction he takes it the wrong way.
"Oh so you think I'm attractive" He smirks and I roll my eyes "I'll remember that" He looks back at the woman who is looking through some papers.
"I am so gonna regret this" He mutters to himself before walking up to her.
"He is failing miserably" Izzy comments on his lack of communication skills since all he does is pick up some flyers talking about god knows what.
I sigh "I'm coming to the rescue"
"Hey babe" I drag out standing right in front of him putting my hands onto his chest, blocking his view of the woman.
He looks at me shocked for a second so I clear my throat and look back at the desk to see that there's an open water bottle.
"Babe I missed you" I pout pulling him closer to my face.
"Oh yeah" He tries to go along with it but it only sounds awkward.
"Of course I have" I nod "Now why don't I show you how much I really missed you" I smirk backing up into the desk and pulling him towards me just so I can 'accidentally' knock over the water bottle with my hand.
"Omg I'm so sorry" I apologise, taking some paper towels to help her wipe it just as Alec throws the key card to Izzy.
"Get out of here" The woman stops me and I follow her orders walking after Izzy with Alec by my side.
