Carters p.o.v
"Wait so your leaving in a week" my cousin ashley asked. I looked at her and laughed "yes ash. I am. I have to go back to tulsa sometime" i told her. Ashley is about 5'7 with dirty blonde hair and green eyes. She is really pretty. She was a full-time model that was barely ever home, but then she met her husband, Tom. He is about six feet with brown hair and eyes. They ended up having a baby at 20. So now, she is a part-time model and tom works at a bar. "Well. Who is gonna entertain me" she asked. I laughed at her. "Um. Thats what tom is for." i said. "Oh yeah" she said before helping me make dinner. "TOM! GET YOUR LAZY ASS DOWN HERE FOR DINNER. NOW!" ashley yelled. I heard a stumble upstairs, which made me laugh because she scared him. He came down and sat in his chair as ashley gave him his plate. I took a plate and sat down. The baby will be coming in another few months. The baby bump has gotten bigger. Ashley sat across from me and started eating. "So are you scared about scarlett" tom asked. I shook my head
"Not at all. I know that i will be absolutely fine" i said smiling. Tom patted my back. "Good luck. They are a lot to han-" he was cut off by crying. Ashley got up but i made her sit back down. "Let me handle him" i said. She nodded and sat back down. I walked over to austin (the baby) and picked him up. I rocked him back and forth sushing him. He quickly fell asleep in my arms, so i kissed his forehead and placed him back in his crib. I walked back and saw ashley and tom smiling. Ashley looked at me "you are definetly gonna be a good mother" she said. I thanked her and sat down. I finished my dinner and cleaned my plate. Ashley walked up to me. "Ya know, if you ever need a fatherly figure to help out, come on down. Tom is awesome with austin. She said. I smiled back at her. "Thanks. And if i do i will come here.i promise." i said. She smiled and walked into the bathroom. I went to my room.and layed down waiting for ashley to be done.
******15 minutes later******
Ashley walked out of the bathroom as i walked in. I closed the door behind me and got undressed. I hopped into the shower and let the hot water run down my body. It felt really good. I washed my hair and just stood there for a while. When i stepped out of the shower, i wrapped myself in a towel and started doing my hair. "Ya know, i like your hair messy" i heard someone say. I turned around and saw ashley satanding in the doorway. "Why" i asked. She shrugged. "It just looks nice on you. Thats how dally always liked it" she said. I smiled at the thought of dally. I brushed my hair into a ponytail and walked into my room. I jumped into my bed and snuggled under the covers. I quickly fell asleep. It was a nice, peaceful sleep.
Ashleys p.o.v
I watched as carter literally fell asleep as soon as she touched the pillow. She looked peaceful. I walked down to the phone and dialed a number. "Hello" "you need to stop being an ass and get back to your family. stop being scared and grow a pair" "i will. I just need time. They wont believe it. None of them will. Just do me a favor ashley. Keep them safe until i come there" "i will." i hung up the phone and walked to my room. I fell asleep shortly after with tom. I really hope this works out.
